OMG YES!! Frontal lobe functions.

If I saw Wilmont or Nurmi stranded on the side of the road in the mild of the desert in the mild of summer I would just pass on by JMO

I'm having good success with UStream. Type into Google and click on News section.

One of the many things that sadden me is that we many never again seen Juan Martinez at work. Such a master he is!

I hate that the defense is right about this issue.

just too many instances of people remaining conscious and living after a gun shot to the brain

it happens

does not help the credibility of this witness to say this would 'immediately' incapacitate someone

it might

but it is completely possible to remain conscious after being shot in the head (and brain) with a .25

there are many examples of this happening

I hate hate hate that the prosecution is doing this

it's unnecessary
That is NOT what I heard. Down immediately. Our Gabby Giffords!

I trust the ME. He was there at the autopsy.

She'snot- she's grimacing and wiping her nose. Notice there are NO tears.

Her face is fake crying but there is a smile in her eyes. watch them and only them when she looks at the pics. Ive always seen the smile and thats what makes me believe that evil is sometimes born and not created......

He is speaking with much more conviction this time. VERY good Witness and he came back at her with a touch of force which is needed.

Great learning experience for all. Stand by your reports and don't let her push you

  • #833
Look at Jodi watching dr. Horn after her fake crying session.

Juror question!

  • #835
JW talks with no compassion for Travis whatsoever.

Aww, Plumeria, I just can't agree with that, she is staunchly arguing & performing for her side, but, yeah, I believe she has compassion for a man brutally murdered and his family. Just sayin' :twocents:

Editing myself, Plumeria: I see you said she talks with no compassion - not necessarily having no compassion. I do agree with that. So......nevermind. :seeya:

JA's giving the doc that "I want to kill you" look

Jodi recovers quickly.

JW asks 6000 autopsies?
yes

low caliber weapon - bullet was stopped in the cheekbone - not enough velocity to make an exit wound
right

if we assume gunshot wound first inflicted you would agree not immediately fatal
maybe not immediately but rapid . . .
immediate is within a second but rapid is within a couple of seconds or very quick

incapicattating -
bleed into sinus and bleed into nose and mouth - yes it can

blood being sprayed out of nose - like coughing it out
yes

Det. Flores said you told him the bullet was not immediately incapcaciting
not remember that

you don't recall have any conversation with Det. Flores
that is right

not presenet to hear what he said about what you told him
I don't think it would immediately incapacitated him - do you remember saying that?
don't remember say tht

you knew this because gunshot wouldn't immediately incapacitated . . . I don't think I would immediately incapacitate him

I immediately corrected my testimony in the testimony
brain was liquefied?
softened yes

do you remember

you can still take sections through the brain as much as I could
there was no damage that you could see
right limited because of decomp

you said no damage in the brain

because of decomp - limits . . . . can't see the track but I know the holes are
I know where it went it went thru right frontal lobe

becausae of decomp - cAN'T SEE wound track in the brain . . .
based on limitations of that exam - I didn't see any tumors in the brain or anything like that.

superior venacava wound - just left of center of person's body
refer to my own report
it is just right of midline to the chest

and that particular is . .. . . .has an undermined lower edge
yes
that tells you blade is angled slightly upward going in
yes

have a knife going from down to up
if body placed in standard position

redirect - JM

difference between wound being rapidly fatal or rapidly incapacitating
yes
people in hospital incapacity but die months later

alterered consciousness - lack of purposeful actions within seconds

frontal lobe - what does it do, bullet rip thrus it?

center of judgement, shockwave associated that affects thru other parts of brain . . .when passes thru bone projectile tumbles creates fairly large wound track

do you have opinion of how it passed
across the right frontal lobe of brain from skull downward into the cheek
immediately incapacitating?
I would think so yes

one juror question - any others?

Joining late. Can't find a live feed that is working so I am behind.Watching HLN which means it will be New Year's before I am caught up:)
Willmott is absolutely horrific with her challenging of DR. HORN. I am embarrassed for her.

  • #840
Well that's pretty much her self defence story on the tiles ... I can't see how anyone on a jury will think the gunshot wound came first after that.
