Hmmm doubt that. I think she is ambidextrous and has big hands for a woman. After she stabbed him in the heart, the camera fell on the tile near the shower, hence the ceiling pic and then it got kicked around during the scuffle. moo ;)

Maybe she used her own camera strap from her camera in the car?

You mentioning all those things that we are blessed with being able to see, touch, taste, and experience reminds me of a message I sent a friend the other day. These next few sentences are copied and pasted, directly from the message that I composed and sent. It is so unfair that Travis Alexander was not given the chance to meet and marry his soul mate, produce beautiful children, and witness their first steps, baseball home runs, and graduations from high school and college. He was robbed of the honor of walking his daughter down the aisle at her wedding, and reading books and playing hide and seek with his grandchildren. Travis should still be here with us…. with his twinkling eyes, and contagious laughter.
I know its lengthy, but I was so sad and angry, I desperately needed to vent my frustration somehow.

I think we all feel this way. :therethere:

LoL seattlechiquita, now don't be dissing Nancy's hair.

Seriously, I posted several less than flattering comments on here about her barrette, and how she needed to get herself a grown up hairdo. Well, lo and behold a couple shows later she's sporting that very ladylike up-do.

I think either Nancy, or her people, read here. And I felt really bad when I read somewhere that it was her little girl that wanted her to wear the barrette, so they would look the same. I love Nancy. She doesn't "share" an opinion, she "owns" it. But at least she always seems to be on the same side as me, even though she's busy cutting her guests a new one. ;)

Now, back...away....from....the hair. :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:

Nancy has me cracking up when she refers to JW and JA, and their BFF courtroom etiquette and she says "They are not at a Quilting Bee". something like that.

There were new photos released today? Of what exactly?

Autopsy: bullet wounds (entrance/exit wounds) and clustered stab wounds on the back.

You may be correct on that. The only thing I could recall is the car was rented in Redding, and she had purchased gas after leaving Utah.

MOO

i dont know about that but didnt the rental car guy say the car smelled of smoke..wonder what kind of smoke maybe the extra gas she burned the evidence .

Sounds like a commercial for side effects of some drug.

Thinking of something I heard today. The jury watches the family and their behaviour. We've seen sadness, grief from travis family. Jodie's mom has sat in court, giggling, smiling, at the most crucial times. She doesn't even attempt to show any kind of remorse to the victims family.
The grandmother looks confused and out of place! Poor thing. I'm not putting Jodie's mom down! I've tried to put myself in. Her shoes. I have two grown daughters myself, I think I would feel shame that my child could do such a heinous crime. I would want to give the family a hug and express my. Remorse.
I'd be ashamed that my child could be so evil.
I would cry for my child of course but I would put responsibility where it belongs! Tough love. I wouldn't try to excuse what she did! I wouldn't be biased and say well if he hadn't done this or that.
The man has a family he was. Human he was loved.
Rant over:slap:

The vena cava is a huge vein leading to the heart. You may be thinking of the aorta. Lethal either way.

Thanks ... is it like a major artery?

There is no way she shot him first.. You know why?? Because she wanted it to hurt and shooting him would have been too quick. IF she really wanted him just dead? She would have waited until he was in the shower and shot him 5 times. That would have been that.. She wanted to kill him with gusto. She wanted it to hurt. She wanted to torture him.

The gun was most likely to me an after thought.
To make sure he was really really dead.

Ab.so.lute.ly, Scarlett - ITA!

I do think she wanted to disable him pretty quickly so he wouldn't have much of a chance to come at her or to defend himself. The chest wounds would have really slowed him down right from the start, and his blood loss would have been very disabling very quickly. Maybe that is when he somehow got to the sink, spraying his lifeblood everywhere and trying to get his breath, thereby exposing his back to her.

Then came those quick bad wounds to his back; now he is down & crawling away from her. Then the most-horrible-wound-I-have-ever-seen (and this includes the M.E. photos of the victims of the Manson family) to his throat. And I can just hear her now, saying "Take that, you ^(*&%^. That'll show you to break up with me! I am going to kill you, you %)*&^*)$."

If she attacked him from the back first, it would have surely stunned him right from the start, and she could do those without him seeing they were coming; start him staggering from the get-go. And then the rest.

And yes, Mz. Scarpetta, the gunshot was the period at the end of his sentence -- the sentence she pronounced on him due to her having to have the last word, scorned woman that she was. She had to have been standing over him, facing the right side of his head. Sometimes being left-handed does have its advantages, I guess.

I don't think he refrained from defending himself because he didn't have the heart to defend himself. Certainly, he was a gentle, nice guy; way, way above her on every measurement there is, but he would have fought for his life, but she was too mean, too quick, too jealous, & and too full of hate & evil.

He never had a chance.

Yeah that's always haunted me. If she was alone and DIDNT smoke than did she burn items..:seeya:

Nope. The camera strap was still in the box in the bedroom as per the Flores report.

Though I don't believe the camera traveled up the hall, Jodi claims to have had her own camera there. If she did, it's possible she had her own strap, too.

Ok....good point :blushing: will I know ppl over there? I'm shy...

I just went over there, and let me tell you, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I hear crickets chirping.

Maybe. Maybe she burnt the evidence in Utah after leaving Tesoro.

I don't doubt that while grinding with RB she was still driving around with the gun and knife.

i dont know about that but didnt the rental car guy say the car smelled of smoke..wonder what kind of smoke maybe the extra gas she burned the evidence .
