Oldwage is insisting that time was lost, but Mrs. Stipp stated that she went directly from the small balcony to the large balcony.

i don't think I would call my emotions as shock. we needed to find out what was going on, we thought it was a family murder.

you then walk to your main balcony. where is your husband. he is on the balcony, the large one. we were standing close to the balastrading. we wanted to find out where the terrible screaming was coming from.

what is the best vantage point large or small?? well. almost the same, actually.

the street part of the balcony is the best vantage point.. . is that where you stood?? I cant recall it. I only recall it as we moved from one end of the balcony.

my husband said, I must go there, there could be children involved. they thought the sound might be someone coming down the street. .

when i turned into the bedroom . I saw the time 3.17.. now i hear a man screaming.

for what period were yu and your husband on the balcony its hard to pin down. but it would be bout 10 mins.

alright. when you re entered the bedroom your clock says 3.17. you go to the small balcony, you spend time on the large balcony. yu re enter your bedroom 3.17..

15 minutes from the time I woke up coughing. ( she is already awake , coughing )

IF that time was shorter. then you were certainly INSIde the house for 2 mins. no.. not correct.. it doesn't take me 2 mins to walk from the small to the large.

somewhere time was wasted. you spent time dallying in the bedroom between your time on the small balcony, and the large balcony!!. nope. no time wasted. .

where do we find the time thatsbeen lost. I don't accept that any time is lost.

the only time I have to state is 3.02 when I was awake coughing and the gunshots start. then the time I re entered from the large balcony. 3.17


now.. you heard screaming. before the shots. just the one person screaming. a continuous scream. can you be 100 % correct??

yes, I am 100 % convinced it was a female.

you move to the large balcony. yes. again. I heard the screaming I then heard a short period of a male screaming at the same time.

when you say. at the same time.. even though you could discern?? yes. I could discern. two different pitches.

AS: I maintain I walked out on the balcony without spending time...I don't see where time has been lost.

OW: You spent at least 10 mins on larger balcony, some time must have been lost...the time when you exited first time on small balcony, you say you heards screams? What else?

AS: After the first shots, just continuous screaming.

OW now says she can't be certain it was a female, witness says she just about can. He says 'Very good'.

She says she heard the man screaming AT THE SAME TIME as the female. Insists she could when OW queries that.

The judge should tell him to move on, she's not being swayed by him so his cross isn't getting him any further.

Ah, but she is aiding the prosecution in my opinion. Through cross alone, she's been able to insist it was a female screaming and that she heard two voices - different pitches. Repeatedly.

we discussed what we were hearing no words, just screaming..

no dogs barking? no. no dog barkings..

now Ididnt hear it on the first occasion, I would regard dog barking as white noise..


now I suggest there were much louder noises.. gunshots.

now I have a new dog, and he barks, but my previous dog wouldn't bark. .


I heard no dogs barking that specific night..

you should have a little bit of doubt, really. no. I have no doubts..its what I heard..

the dog barking if any was not important to me, the woman screaming was.

I believe she said the clock was typically about 3 minutes fast. So yes, if second volley was at 3:17, that was likely actually 3:14.

OW has somehow interpreted this as she cannot remember accurately events of the night. He wants her to consider she should 'have a little bit of doubt" about her recollections.

AS is now talking about a later date when they heard noises outside (OP's screaming test maybe) and her 'conscious decision' not to know or investigate the sounds. She'd had enough by then, I think.

AS: I'm aware of that...I must have missed (hearing) one.

OW: Improbable at that point in time you had missed one...

OW: At the time of second shots.

moving on to the next incident of voices screaming. April. I cannot be certain.. re female male voices. it wasn't screaming. it was slightly raised voices. I didn't go out to investigate these..

at some point in time, you husband decided to investigate the circumstances re the screaming and gunshot . ..... correct.


he went into the house, he commenced to get dressed.. he was using his phone I was almost inside the house, we heard more gunshots. 3. my husband told me to get out of the doorway.

I assumed it was gunshots. Your husband was close? not really, he was getting dressed..

you heard 3 and 3.. it is common cause that 4 gnshots were fired.. you have no difficult with that.

I can only assume that the time I was shouting at my husband to ring this, ring that. .

it makes it improbable. that you were mistaken.

Hubby called one number, 10111, no answer, then she tried another security number, no answer. Got through third time, I think? After 3.17am.

I may be totally wrong but, given that My Lady has now interrupted Oldwage at least twice now in a span of minutes, it appears that she's not necessarily agreeing with the points he's trying to make.
