I think the defence will state that it was transferred from his hand after the shooting but as I said earlier the gunshot residue could have been on the switch before the shooting because OP goes to a shooting range and was once stopped at an airport because of gun shot residue .

Honestly I am lost. Where are you folks getting it from that the forensic findings included gunshot residue found on a light switch?

No, she hadn't looked out the window yet.

But did do immediately after the shooting and saw the light on .
That still differs with op's statement then because he stated that he was still too scared to turn them on . I would have thought mrs stipp's turning her head to look out of the window would be quicker than what OP describes below .

Was this Reeva's 1st face to face meeting with Oscar since she'd had coffee with her male friend??????

Possible catalyst for heated, physical events, later tragic, that evening/early morning???

BBM: If he indeed called her a 🤬🤬🤬🤬 or 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, I am adding misogynist to that list.
Really? So a guy who calls his gf a 🤬🤬🤬🤬 or 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 automatically hates all women?

Yeah, she saw the lights on after the shots. But she also said she didn't look out the window until she heard screaming. I really don't believe Mrs Stipp's testimony in its entirety. She has been shown to be either biased towards the prosecution or having a faulty memory.

RS to OP: It's like I see rabbit things in your house and when we go places you take pics of them everywhere. For me I'm thinking who do you have that connection with? And the same things will play on your mind. At the end of the day this is now not then

This is probably going to be a really stupid question. But what did RS mean by "rabbit things". Is this slang, or literal?

I have mentioned this in the past, but wanted to throw it out again.

Early on in the investigation, there was a media report that an unnamed detective stated there was "evidence of heavy drinking" in the house and trophies strewn around. I have not heard word one about this since and have been wondering if anything will come out in court about it. OP's history of drama seems always to involve alcohol.

I know it seems late in the game for Prosecution to introduce it, but do you suppose.....??? What do you all think?

:what:

.

No, we don't. We don't know what OP said to Stander.

Although Oscar could clearly "RELY" on Stander. Albeit nothing to do with an ambulance or medical assistance, if that was even asked to be phoned in the 1st place.

The original question is about the light being on and there's no one saying the light was on when he shot her with the initial bangs.

Only if you define "initial bangs" as occurring at 3:10, whatever those bangs were. I believe that refers to bangs as OP destroyed his bathroom because Reeva would not come out of the WC.

But if you defined "shots that killed her" as occurring at 3:17 then testimony reflects the lights were on.

Just catching up on those text messages today, I feel a lot better about the prosecutions case now, quite relieved in a way that they were there to be discovered. I hope part of Reeva's legacy will be warning women of the warning signs. Clearly she had no idea that she was in real danger. RIP Reeva.

Yes but I think even Mr stipp's said the lights were on before he heard Op scream for help from the balcony and Op's own statement states he screams from the balcony first then put his legs on and then finally he puts the lights on .
The stipp's evidence was given very early on after the murder so whilst they were some discrepancies in there evidence under heavy cross examination I still don't believe it can be dismissed

Not sure about OP drinking although I thought the pathologist said no alcohol for Reeva.
I did read a report about some broken trophies but have not heard it mentioned during the trial .

Well both Stipps said they were gunshots ....

Could the sound of a bat striking ceramic tiles sound like gunshots, do you think?

A reference to past girlfriends snookie symbolism for Pistorius by ornaments of bunny orientation.

My gut instinct was of the "toy" variety . . . you know . . . ???:blushing:

I think the bat striking door hit edge of tiles causing them to break off. In the reconstruction of bat hitting, a side angle shot from that side matched mark on door.

I am a man, and I have never used either of the words and have only heard them used by boys in high school. I have been aware that they exist but have never found the need to use either of them; using them in describing your girlfriend would demonstrate extreme disrespect for her. IMO

May be daft logic but bullets are in effect, here: metal on wood and a cricket bat on a metal bath plate the reverse - wood on metal. Trigger pulling aside, might those sounds be similar??
