Morning guys, thanks for updates Zwei... Can someone just confirm for me save me looking through. Reeves made no attempt to call for help and sent no negative messages of fear on the night in question?

I'm not saying that at all. I fully believe that Oscar is the one that asked him to take the blame, as it is corroborated by Kevin Whatisface and it just makes more sense.

I was just pointing out Roux's intent and that the question did make sense.

I can't make up my mind if Nel didn't do his homework and was struggling to make sense of the phone data, if he decided there was nothing worthwhile there, or if he had actually found it was more damaging to the state's case than helpful.

Maybe that's why Roux is such a cantankerous old b*****... and OW too. No barristers, advocates or whatever you like to call them can stand losing. They are such an arrogant selfish bunch and I've had dealings with quite a few over and even those on the side I was at were the same.

i agree, these phone records now indicate to me that Baba misremembered the order of the calls.

Today's testimony: First call was from OP for 9 seconds (possibly a mistake) then Baba called back.

Those are only the land phone I believe, no mention of the one used in the buggy...

Ok. But I am just saying that I don't think it does make sense, because there would be no reason for anyone to text each other that specific question. It happened on the spot, and was over and done with.

But the text in question was pretty damning. OP was admitting that Fresco did take the blame, in spite of Roux's fancy two-step.

It does look as though they have information from Apple unless I have misunderstood. Do you think Nel purposely did not bring up all the conversations because he is going to tackle OP with them when he takes the stand and wanted to keep his powder dry, so to speak? He has brought all the calls into evidence so I assume he can refer to them as he chooses. As long as the judge has a record of the messages it is not really important that we hear them all but it does make it less interesting.

Seems there wasn't really anything of much significance any closer than Feb 7th to the murder or else they would have been brought out for sure.

The expert explained how buttons on the iphone are close together and accidental calls are easy to make. I back him up with that. And I'm forever getting cut off by Mr Z's ear when he calls me. We call them 'ear 'ears, it's such a regular event.

I didn't catch if they mentioned the number (cell or land), just that he called "security" and then had gotten a call back. When Baba testified, during cross Roux had already submitted both phone records (OP's and Baba's) to prove this same point, but I guess he is just reemphasizing it here.

Must admit, I honestly expected something much more concrete.
I'm thinking the phone records and fact that OP did ring ambulance so quickly, Baba's mistake. Nothing really proving anymore with gun incidents.
We know what Mark Batchelor is likely to say but Roux can say back that OP also made a complaint cosof texts received and his GF at the time was cheating with his friend Quinton so was naturally upset.
Other gun incidents weren't reported at the time, it can be shown his friend DF was just as reckless.....
Hope that Nel has something or it is just possible that OP could well 'get away with Murder'

He is very good. I don't know if you watched the JA trial but he reminds me a lot of the prosecutor (without the fireworks), very cunning, one step ahead, good at getting important points across.

IMO.
