One thing has become clear to me after listening to these texts, is that their relationship was under intense pressure due to OP's celebrity status. I think that pressure definitely had an effect on their relationship.

I still believe some of OP's actions towards Reeva were abusive, regardless of how many times he sent her in a text.

Now talking about Reeva's msg where she says about saying a prayer for OP. He sent a kiss back, not a prayer I think.

The one thing I note so far is that this relationship did not really start proper until January. After that it seemed to go down hill with a number of niggling disagreements interspersed with some more serious arguments. To me that discounts most of the 1700 whatsapp messages as being before the relationship became serious. OP would be hardly likely to be difficult before the relationship got underway proper. It will be interesting to hear what Nel makes of all this. We are obviously only hearing some of the messages. Nel already sounds a bit needled when he interjected about the end of the argument.

Yep, a lot of this just seems to be dealing with the messages either side of the parts that were extracted by PT just to verify that any argument/disagreement didn't continue.

It will be interesting to see how the PT deal with messages. It wouldn't be beneficial for them to follow the same course as Roux with messages that have already been read as this would help the DT case.

I have a feeling that the messages already presented are the most incriminating regarding arguing or fall-outs, as I can't see Roux having not brought these into play, as he did with the others when the prosecution were up.

No doubt we shall see...

I agree. I could have written some of the stuff Reeva did, I relate to all of this. The silly "I like you" one, especially. When you're away you find a way to keep the conversation going and it can get pretty cheesy at times.

I don't doubt that but find it interesting that they were apparently going to be moving in together and not one I love you has been said by either of them. I'd be wanting some declaration of where the relationship was going before making such a big commitment.

I also think his, "let me know you're safe," texts were put into context, as in, he usually had a reason for them, like she was running alone at night or driving at night, and wanted her to let him know she was safe. It wasn't just out of the blue to keep tabs on her. Telling.
