Convenient how he can recall fine details during the heat of the moment, yet blur or forget other moments....
======

OP has a problem with his story.....

Neighbors version: FIGHTING & SCREAMING, THEN bangs, then screaming STOPPED

OP version: Bangs, THEN screaming
Actually, he was pretty clear on shouting, shots, more shouting, bangs .
12:55 - Just before I got to wall, I stopped shouting afraid they'd know exactly where I was.

12:54 - I screamed at the persons to get out, at Reeva to get to safety. I slowly made my way down the passage, constantly aware that these persons could come at me at any time.

Ha, someone said yesterday that he would have a break down and call for an adjournment to avoid cross examination. Good call!

I am wondering - Is it possible for Nel not to get a chance to cross examine Oscar? :(
I imagine Roux finishing with Oscar at the end of the week, Nel starting cross examination Monday morning and at the first big challenge Oscar breaking down and being unable to return to the stand. Roux will describe his break down and that he now needs medical care. The trial goes on without Oscar testifying further and Roux in closing asks/pleads that Milady not penalise Oscar for his inability to continue testifying. Please consider that he recounted his entire memory of the event and that he then became medically unfit to remain on the stand. Roux might give a big sob story about a ruined and broken, heartbroken man who needs care and medical help not jail and further punishment.

I wasn't aware there were panic buttons as it's never been mentioned, has it?

It's been mentioned several times and queried why OP didn't use it. OP just referred to the alarms in the house during his evidence. I didn't understand whether he was referring to the panic button, or the burglar alarm. Also talked about the decorators taking off one sensor. I think he was referring to this causing them to fail, or something like that.

OFFS - another delay because OP can't hold it together. Tomorrow, please bring in extra shirts, and a large towel to wipe off your blubber. Or medicate the 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 out of him. This is getting ridiculous.

MOO

Mel

I can't see the judge tolerating this much longer. She has a time frame she wants this case finished by. Courts deal with emotions on a daily basis, but they continue on

"I didn’t want to believe that it could be Reeva inside the toilet," Pistorius said.

"I jumped out and ran my hand along the curtain to see that she wasn’t hiding behind the curtain."
------------------------
Never mentioned that in the affidavit that took five days to compile.

If that does happen I guess that Nel would give a speech addressing OP's evidence and pointing out the discrepancies in it. What a let down if that happens. Mind you, it also denies Roux the chance to get OP to directly dispute any of Nel's points.

Yes it is very disturbing to me to hear now that the bedroom doors were not locked at all .
Where did you see that? He stated today and in his affi that he locked his bedroom door (no mention of where the key was thou?)

12:25 - OP says he the locked bedroom door after Reeva came inside, put cricket bat at sunglasses cabinet. If something happened… the door would be blocked by the cricket bat. Something I did every night.

Would the trial be adjourned or abandoned if he is sectioned with a breakdown ?

I thought I read that he had just put the bat against the door .
Will have to go back and read again

Looks like even Roux has been made a bit emotional by today too.

Roux tells ballistic expert Mangena:"if the state incorrectly prosecuted an innocent young men, then you have ruined him forever" @eNCAnews

Surprised at Roux's ignorance and irresponsibility because under SA law as far as I read it the State Prosecution could not have just let OP walk without testing his version in court, whether under murder or culpable homicide. IMO it is not for a prosecution to decide innocence or guilt only a court can do that, or in the US a grand jury. There are no Stand Your Ground laws in SA.

Would the trial be adjourned or abandoned if he is sectioned with a breakdown ?

Interesting question. I imagine it could be adjourned but not abandoned but we would need one of the legal bods on here to pronounce.

I think he said he had to use the cricket bat to keep it closed?

OP made it clear today that RS was fully awake and speaking to him before he supposedly went for the fans. Yet, there was no whispered, "Did you hear that?" at all, but only a whispered "Call the police". Liar.

Also, when OP said he held Reeva and he screamed and cried for, quote: "I can't remember know how long."

Yes! And this is exactly what I am thinking all along - he goes in this type of details without any obvious reason except to match/answer (in advance) the things that go against him. Did anyone/Roux ask him for how long? No! Why mention it then!? This is exactly why his testimony often seems so fake to me. Like he knows, and is very careful, what to say and mention, and what not to mention! And this, to me, suggests that he is not telling the truth. Because, when you're telling the truth, you don't need to be so obviously careful about what you are saying, right?

Also, I am no longer very impressed with Roux's defense tactics - it just all looks too obvious to me... that OP is prepared 'to a T'... and that he has memorised the story he is now telling, instead of telling it from his memory alone.

Many things would look much more plausable if he didn't go in such detail all by himself; if Roux had to stop him and ask him, for example, 'do you remeber for how long'...
