O/T Dewani's arrived, South Africans. And if you're a taxpayer, you paid for the private jet that brought him there, apparently.
Im utterly DISGUSTED to see this!

R: Kempton Park...you unlawfully discharged a firearm....30th sept you accompanied Ms T and Mr F to vaal River

O:...morning of the 30th we drove in convoy down to the vaaal; mid afternoon headed back. Travelling in Justin's car. Fresco was driving...I sat in passenger side. Sam in back behind Fresco. ...on the way back...we were about to climb onto hwy near river, a police officer standing in the road....the vehicle we had didn't have plate on front. Officer wrote an infringement. D threw it into the footwell where I was sitting.

...then (nr Soweto) we were pulled over by metro police. D had to get out and walk to front of car. Then another police car arrived. I always carried my firearm, I thought I had to defuse the situation. I put the gun on the seat of the car. The police were v. agitated. ...the speed D was going.

Ha! Remember during the State's CIC, when Sam Taylor gave testimony about the shooting through the sunroof incident and Roux tried to discredit her testimony by saying that it couldn't have happened because OP was in Scotland at that time?

OP just testified that he was scheduled to leave later that day to fly to Scotland.

I think Roux will say anything & everything (even lie) to try to get a witness to change their testimony.

O: Police shouted 'Whose firearm is this!' I asked for it back. He was aggressive in his manner.

OP says he explained why he left it in the car; because he did not want to approach the police with it.

OP said this today: 'I was very into Reeva. I think I was probably more into her than she was into me. I was besotted with her."

I don't know that I believe that, but he said it for a reason... More good stuff to come.

Definitely! .. he even seems to think of love as a competition .. like in those messages where he was trying to do a 'one up' with how he felt about her .. and there, once again, he is trying to say he loved her more than she did him. No-one does that in a normal, healthy, relationship as the love is mutual.

Roux says a lot of things with nothing to back up those statements.

O: The policeman got angry, lit a cig and walked away....then another policeman helped get the bullet out of the seat.....by this time I was quite agitated. I thought they would arrest Darren for speeding.

I said to the policeman to come back to help me find the bullet. I was agitated. Offended that he touched my firearm

Then I got back in the car. Just sat there.

I think these two were very into each other from listening to their text messages

Most people who are in abusive relationships are very into each other .. that is why they are in that relationship in the first place. 99% of the time it is all lovey dovey .. the other 1% of it can be sheer hell.

  • #289
Ok so because no paperwork there was no bullet fired. Sorry but not convinced.

I remember carol70 (if you can refresh my memory)scoffing at ST's story because there's no way you could get as belligerent with SA police as they claim OP did and come out unscathed, corrupt and aggressive as they are.

Now talking about going for the meal...

And he can't remember leaving for Scotland that night, but he did. So he's been told.

He seems to be saying he cannot remember the gun incident at all?

O: I don't remember...Idon't recall

Did Roux really say that? That OP was in Scotland at the time? Idiot. Eish

I thought he said verbatim "It never happened" so will have to check later.

He has denied shooting through the car sunroof BUT he knows 2 people have testified that he did. Nel will tear him apart for that, amongst other things. This is definitely an adjusted testimony and not the truth.

  • #295
Just goes to show how boring all this is .. my feed locked up and I've not even noticed it .. I think it's been down for about 10 mins now, lol!

Come on, this is Roux, he said OP double tap (twice, not once) all the while being unstable on his stumps. :floorlaugh:

Wow, that's not how I read it AT ALL.

Yep, I was very surprised that OP was allowed to "shout" (state witness testimony) at a police officer and be able to get in his car and drive away...LOL, even Julias Malema was hauled off for speeding and he probally tried the "do you know who I am" stunt!

  • #299
OK, so OP is an extremely responsible gun owner... except for that night when he was the most irresponsible gun owner. ;-)

  • #300
Just as predicted: OP blames Darren Fresco for the gun going off.

Denying that he asked Darren to take the blame.

Why am I not surprised.

OP paid the restaurant bill - so I guess that makes it all right, after all, he picked up the tab.
