Agree. He's pointing out that Oscar is selfish, contolling and act like ashats, and like some men I have dated (and threw to the curb :floorlaugh. So what does this have to do with the case as many men are like this.

Many of us that have been 'there' agree with you. We don't know much about Judge Masipa's personal history but she does have a proven track record for being harsh in punishment for crimes against women. It's unlikely she has a specialty as such but I believe she's going to be more than familiar with signs of a potentially abusive relationship. No one, of course, can predict where such knowledge would lead her though.

Interestingly, O gives a jumbled response about context and blames someone else for putting the song on. He seemed on the backfoot there.

I would have been really angry if a guy put on that specific song in the car, after we had just had a public spat.

Have to admit the messaging CE is only benefitting Nel if he can bring other evidence to show he's lying or abusive but as the PT's evidence has already been presented then he can only elicit possible lies by OP via other defence witnesses and I can't see that happening.
