N: Did he (Mr R) tell you it was in order for you to keep your father's ammo in the safe?

O: He didn't say those words, no.

N: He would have said 'No, that's illegal'.

  • #362
He's blaming the safe now for possessing the ammo!!

.. all of it's own accord, apparently!

Nel.. I want you to listen to my questions..

Oscar.. I want to correct myself. I haven't thrown a tantrum in front of people...

Nel. I was so upset I left darrins party early. I am scared of you sometimes..

Oscar. .she is scared of her feelings for me.. she is obviously scared of .. of me. I

Nel. what did you do to scare her??

Oscar.. I never shouted at her..

Nel. you shouted at Samantha... ??

Oscar.. I never did.. I screamed at her friend..

Nel.. she was never picked up on that lie..

Oscar.. there were many lies in Ms Taylors evidence.. I couldn't pick them all up.

Nel... you were very active getting this case going. you were very busy writing notes, passing them to your lawyer..

Oscar... I wrote a bit. I passed stuff up.. I passed them to mr webber, he didn't send all notes forward..

Nel. did you send a note up about the screaming Samm testified??

Oscar.. I cant explain..

Nel.. I put it toyou that it was true. . you did scream..

Oscar.. very little of her testimony was true..

Nel. so its your legals team fault that it wasn't passed up for sam to be redacted??

Oscar.. I screamed at her friend. her friend was drunk and disorderly.. I have never screamed at Miss taylor.

alright. Nels.. I am scared of you , and how you snap at me.. etc..

Oh God

N: I don't understand why you're pleading not guilty. You just don't want to take responsibility

O: My understanding of the law is.....

O is sticking to an didn't know/my interpetation of the law/Mr Roux's fault.

O: It (the ammo) wasn't in my possession.

N: Were you in possession of it?

O: It was in my house.....even if it was in my possession, it wasn't for my use. My understanding of the law...

Telling that his father would not make a statement re the ammo. Wonder why he us being so loyal if they did not have a good relationship?

  • #366
Oh "many people have access to the safe" .. so he can blame them instead, now ..! .. dear god, this is amazing ..

  • #367
Oscar trying to deny the gun charges is a total car crash.

  • #368
He has just admitted kind of, that it was in his possession, but I don't think he's actually realized.

  • #369
Nel just told OP that it's the THIRD time he's blamed Mr Roux for something! OP is tied up in knots here. Guns that go off without his finger being on the trigger (is that what's meant by 'automatic'?) And he refused point blank to concede that it's not POSSIBLE for the gun to go off without the trigger being pulled. What was that about people who refuse to concede anything and stick to something even when there's a possibility they could be wrong?

  • #370
OP regarding the ammunition that he didn't have a license to possess: "It wasn't in my possession".

It was in his house, in his safe, ergo, it was in his possession.

OP can try to twist this into any pretzel shape he wishes, but he was still in illegal possession of ammunition if it was in his house.

nel. yo admit the ammo was found in your safe. .and you control your safe..

Oscar. there are two safes.. one I control.. the one downstairs, and the one upstairs.. several people have access to that.

Nel. you kept your ammo in a safe that other people had access to??

Oscar.. at the time when I had the .38 ammo, my father asked me to keep it for him

nel were yu there when your father put it there??

Oscar.. no. no. I haven't spoken to my father in many years. .

Nel. so how did your father get to put it in your safe?? your father has refused to make a statement, or an affidavit about this.......

some long weird explanation.

Nel. yu know you cant keep this ammo in your safe.. you know the arms and ammo statutes ... you cant keep ammo for someone else..

Oscar. mr Roux said I could.. . I can keep it in a safe or a strongroom.

Nel. are yu telling me that Mr Roux told you you culd keep your fathers ammo in your safe??

yes, no, yes no..

nel. did mr roux tell you you could keep your fathers ammo in your own safe..

yes, he did. he did. that was my understanding.

Nel. no. no. he wouldn't do that. he would not do that. he would not tell you you can keep your fathers ammo in your safe.

Oscar. nono. he said that. its my understanding of it.

Nel. nono that's not what I am asking you. DID mr roux tell you this??

Oscar.. he did say it. its my understanding of the law. .

Nel. now. you say you are a gun enthusiast.. 50 or more.. if you were a gun enthusiast yu would know the law. did you discuss it with Mr Renn.

no. no. .

Oscar. its my understanding of the law, that you can keep it in any safe. .

dear god.

Nel. do you know when your father put it there??

osca.r.. I know it was there fr some time, I am out of the country a lot..

Nel.. did you have a licence for that ammo??

no

Nel. you are not allowed to have this ammo in your possession.

Oscar. I didn't have it in my possession.

Nel. it was in your house. .

Oscar. it belonged to my father.. some jewelry of my sisters.. it wasn't for my use.

( this is one dumb donkey) ..

Oscar.. I understand I can have it in my safe.. but not for my use.

Nel. are you in charge of the safe??

Oscar. er. um. I . .

Nel.

Oscr.. the ammo wasn't kept for my purpose. it was kept in a safe that other people had access to it.

alright. Nel. are you allowed by law to have a magazine the extra magazine in your bedside table at all times whethere you were there or not?

correct.

Nel. and you know that is illegal. and negligent..

Oscar.. I don't know if this is the related to the charge I am charged with.

oh dear oh dear.. I cant go on. I cannot go on. this is right out of the theatre of the absurd.

  • #372
He had ammunition in a safe, which couldn't be fired.

If it's not illegal it's not illegal.

Where is this going?

Now he'll try the magazine instead - which wasn't even a charge.

Stick to the case Nel.

  • #373
No N onto the mag in the bedside table, when it should have been in the safe: Agree with me that's illegal?

O: Milady, I don't actually know if that's illegal....

N: Answer the question pls.

  • #374
He's blaming the safe now for possessing the ammo!!

.. all of it's own accord, apparently!

This is getting quite surreal!!!

  • #375
Nel: 'I'm dealing with your negligence as a firearm owner...'

Stick to the case Nel.

Only it was illegal

Nel's warned him his answers have implications.

O: At times I carried mag with me, at times I put it in the safe....I wouldn't stand here and lie.

  • #378
As I have stated several times on this point:

1. Henke Pistoroius lives far away in Capetown area.
2.Henke and Oscar have been estranged for circa 5 years now.

So in sum, I do not believe that ammo was Henke's!

  • #379
I wouldnt stand here and lie LOL

  • #380
O: At times I may have forgotten to put it in the safe...I understand it's against the law.

N: If it's against the law, will you plead guilty?

O: I'll have to discuss with my counsel...

Nel laughs and O now explaining the law to him, I think!
