Wow, this is painful to hear......

After a long diatribe how rough Oscar's life is now....Nel, simply:

'Are you done?'

  • #383
Nel is vigorously rubbing his temples, as if OP's constant prevarications are giving him a splitting headache.

  • #384
(deep breath) ....

Nel.. do you know what happened to your safe??

Oscar. I didn't even have a phone , I was in a prison holding cell. the state took my phone..

Nel. did anyone tell you , brother, uncle, sister, that your father refused to sign an aff about this ammo??

Oscar. no. no. no one took an inventory of my safe. .that's all I know about the ammo.

nel... page 304 xhibit JJ

O explains how he stayed in his room, didn't speak or socialise after his bail.

O: The state had my phones, so I didn't converse with many people.

He says noone told him his father had refused to give a statement. Gives long explanation that didn't really answer the question I think: 'That's all I know about that'.

  • #386
Nel doing a great job of demonstrating how Oscar never takes responsibility for anything, he doesnt want him to admit it to these charges, he is giving him more and more rope with witch to hang himself.

They're back...

Zwiebel, Did you play with your dog during the break? :seeya:

What kind of doggie? One that yaps to get your attention and says "mom, there is a break, come play with me NOW!"

Thanks so much zwiebel for capturing things that I miss!

Oh no. Nel's got a doc 'Unfortunately not paginated'.

Shuffling of pages.

  • #390
Only it was illegal

Not strictly true. The law is complicated regarding storage of ammunition. There will be more specifics regarding this charge.

  • #391
Sunroof testimony up now.

He's sulking. It's raining and he, champion sea/river whatever swimmer, is scared of raindrops.

the firearms test he took at Sean Rennes..

page 17.. top righthand corner..

question 17..no person may posesss ammo unless they are a licenced dealer.. .. or a something something. none of which Oscar has or is... you didn't have a licence for that firearm or a purpose for that ammo ..

alright says Nel we've dealt with that.

Vaal River trip. ( firing thru the sunroof..)

Nel. what was the occasion for the trip??

Oscar. I don't remember, it was just a gathering....

Nel. you left what time??

Oscar. I don't remember..

Oscar. what time did you get there??
4maybe this is the Vaal river re the crash of the boat, sorry.

Telling that his father would not make a statement re the ammo. Wonder why he us being so loyal if they did not have a good relationship?

Still a father at the end of the day. I think it is more telling he didn't want to make a statement supporting OP's events.

  • #395
Vaal now. Hope sp is right.

O: Get together with some friends

O: I don't remember much about the day...group of more or less 10 pple.

N: Whilst you did all that, where was your gun?

O: On my person

N: You took your gun on the water....why did you take your gun to a party?

O: I carried my firearm wherever I was. Only alternative to leave it in the car...I didn't want to leave it in the house when there was nobody there...

No that ammo was illegal and anyhow possessing someone elses ammo is also illegal

  • #397
Nel: "why would you take a firearm to a party?"

OP: "it wasn't a party, it was a get together"

Here again I must wage in.

This is another example of possible collusion.

It's just been stated that some cops gave the .38 ammo to Carl and Oldwage--was it? As the ammo was illegally owned, this means that some cops colluded in giving this illegal ammo to Carl or Oldwage and a crime of taking evidennce from a crime scene occcurred. You see OP had no license for this ammo, and honest cops would immediately want to see the license for this.

Sans license, honest cops would never have given that to anyone to take away from the crime scene.

Just as with the 5th phone--which unlike this ammo stayed in DT's hands for16 days.

"This one runs deep."

Nel pointing out how OP leaving his gun in the boat unattended is negligent.

I agree.

.. exactly, and which is why he has been charged with that particular offence.
