The host on Oscar radio who is a legal expert states, "There is no court in the land that can find Oscar's story to be reliable or truthful. Oscar is in a lot of trouble."

Which is "Oscar radio"?

So the neighbours either side may not appear, since their statements were paraphrased in court?

OP is an unreliable witness, just like Jodi.

Not sure what Reeva meant but could well mean his quick temper.
I do however have to admit, I have told someone I'm scared of my feelings for them....meaning I'm scared of falling for them and getting hurt-emotionally!:twocents:

She definitely did mean his quick temper because she directly followed what she said about being scared of him by saying words to the effect '(I'm scared of you) and the way you might react to me'

So the uncle is Arnold and he wears a headset most of the time and is sitting next to a woman (aunt) with a very nice bob style hair style (white)...I took them to be the uncle and aunt...there is another heavier guy with white hair sitting next to a woman with white on today...next to them down a bit are the two friends once of which is Darren...that is what I am seeing...I would like to know if that man with suit next to woman in white is not the father. Maybe just another relative. What exactly is his relationship with the father..I don't know much.

Yes Arnold is wearing headset.

Hopefully Roux will get them out to testify coz would love to them them. But sounds move in different ways due to walls etc.

From what I've read the Glocks are made purposely for fast shooting and when there is a bullet in the chamber the hammer is almost fully cocked so there is only a minimal amount of trigger pressure needed to fire. The shooting may well have been accidental as he wasn't used to handling this type of weapon and he didn't realise how responsive the trigger mechanism was.

of course, all agree, it was accidental. But OP will not even admit that his finger set off the trigger, even accidentally.

This is a dead end IMO .. taking a few messages out of context and trying to make it seem like this was the whole relationship, it's a waste of time and it can be so easily redirected by Roux.

So Oscar criticized Reeva's accent - and what does that have to do with anything?

I recall Jodi Arias defense spending a solid 5 months going through sex texts and one recorded phone sex conversation.

So now just because it's a prosecution team going through details, suddenly it's a no-no?

A few statements that stood out to me today:

- Regarding the killing of Reeva, OP stated he remembered pulling the trigger and the rounds going into the door but also said he didn't mean to pull the trigger so in that sense it was an accident.
- OP further stated that if Reeva had come out of the bathroom or spoken with him, he would not have fired. (This stood out to me because it could have an altogether different meaning if Reeva had retreated to the bathroom to escape from OP.)
- Nel suggested the balcony door was never closed on the night Reeva was killed.
- In the case of the restaurant incident, OP stated his finger was never on the trigger.

If he'd an awareness it was possibly or definitely Reeva behind the door, he'd never have shot.

Only way he could ascertain that, was if Reeva had spoken.

No blaming her. He's just stating the obvious.

"If Reeva had come out or if she had spoken to me,
I would not have fired,” he says.

When exactly did he give her a chance to come out or speak to him? He didn't even wait for her to respond to him when he 'whispered' "Call the police" and "Get down low" before charging off to the bathroom to kill the 'intruder'. So during what time frame was Reeva supposed to have spoken to him to avoid being murdered when he's already admitted he shot without any thought?

Thanks for that, soozie .. that confirms what Val said upthread (but was told she didn't hear it).

Speechless, absolutely speechless.

Same as yesterday, the evidence photo discrepancies are not going to go away. They'll keep recurring again and again.

This should have been addressed by both parties and the judge prior to this stage of the trial.
It's absurd that you can question somebody using two sets of photographs with the evidence in a different position each time.
It allows you to pick and choose which one suits your case.

It doesn't matter what photos are shown. There is only one truth that the killer knows is true.

Showing different photos would only be confusing if the killer is comparing those photos to fabricated stories he's made up.

The defense needed a way to explain how the killer didn't notice Reeva leaving the bedroom, so they came up with "I went onto the deck to get the fans."

Now the killer has awkwardly changed that story. It's the killer's "versions" changing that's the problem, not the photos.

Yes, his answers are very telling.

The restaurant shooting is very strange. Injuring the other athletes lower leg is frightening in it's implications.

I listen to ewn.co.za/Features/oscarpistorius/live-audio

Not that you asked :fence:

Thank you.

Is it 24/7 Oscar?
Trying to get it now. Doesn't seem to have audio now, but I will use a different browser.

Is that station out of Joburg?

Umph! He did tell her to stop chewing gum. I just heard him say so. Seconds after he said he never did.

Oh but you see, there was a distinction....he told her not to chew it "in front of the camera." You see, b/c that's not "telling her what to do." Oh no, b/c you see Oscar is in charge of everything related to their media appearances, because, of course, he is the bigger celebrity. So you see, he gets to be in charge of all that stuff.

He let her do whatever she wanted in private (so he says), but in front of others, she had to present herself in a certain way. In order not to embarass him or tarnish his image in any way.

JMO.

and still... the mysterious elusive woman , screaming in pain , in terror 'terrified, terrified'. 'blood curdling.....from his house..

her voice still hasn't registered on Oscar.. he hasn't heard her yet....

Almost depressed, I would say. Pour Roux, he must wonder what he has taken on. How on earth does one keep up with so many changes.

Well, my guess is that because he is a defence lawyer he has to go through all the motions and be seen to be doing the best he can for his client, but that's about all really. Roux himself probably doesn't even believe OP, but he has a job to do.

  • #900
Actually, I think this is all him and not Roux coaching. It fits with his character.

E.g. He couldn't even accept he was watching 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and I don't know how many times Roux asked him on this...

What type of an attorney is OP Brother? Wonder if family or friend is coaching him.
