Slide and a slam now.

  • #222
Oh no . He just doesn't know when to stop playing the victim .
I thought all the police were searched .

They were searched and nothing was found, but why let that get in the way of another piece of 'victimhood' for OP?

  • #223
O: I was frozen for a moment, a couple of seconds then I rushed to get my firearm...told Reeva to get down, phone the police...

N: Hod did you tell her?

O: I whispered, I used a soft tone.

And OP says he did not look at her or have any other conversation.

O: There was no doubt in my mind I heard what I heard.

  • #224
That makes sense to me, what OP is saying about where he placed the fans (small to the right of the big one, or in other words placed the small one first, then placed the large one to the left of the small one) .. Nel is getting confused, but perhaps he is deliberately doing so, in order to trip OP up.

  • #225
Nel talking about 'a reasonable thing to do' in the circumstances would have been for OP to say, 'Reeva did you hear that?'

OP says with Sam, it was his dogs knocking over chairs and he only asked her because he wasn't sure what the noise was.

  • #226
Didn't he say whisper last time?

  • #227
Back to Reeva now

O: I didn't whisper-I said it in a soft manner...

N: You didn't whisper? You're not mistaken?

O: I didn't whisper, I spoke in a soft manner.

they were reevas jeans..

Nel. now . was this the first time this light bothered you??

I had been bothered by it before. . I had covered it before..

Nel. you didn't take steps to cover it permanently? . that's not the reason you woke up, the light?

I don't know why I woke up.. it was warm.. I closed the curtains, I turned back to the fans, that's when the blue light bothered me, so I covered it.. it was at this point I heard the noise/

Nel lets go slowly. yu wanted to cover it.

Oscar, I was in the process of covering, I had picked up the jeans..when I heard the noise.

Nel. reference E 68.. first E 61.

Oscar.. if yu look at the amplifier.. the volume swivel, the bass swivel....

nel. in the middle of this there is a small blue light, how did you want to cover it?

by draping the jeans over the button.

Nel. lets go to 55... there. where the fold is in the duvet... is where you placed the fan?

Oscar. one of the feet... this photo is 2 dimensional... I cant say for certain..

nel. but we know to the left>> ??

that is incorrect . I put it to the right of the fan..

Oscar I bought the small fan first, then the big fan. . I placed the small fan to the right and the left fan to the left..

Nel. the smaller fan more towards thebathroom end?

correct...

Nel and the jeans??

more that a metre away...... then I heard the window sliding open..

Nel. thewindowsliding.. you never heard the dec wake up and get up??you are very close to the fans..

Oscar.. the sound of the window .. and hitting the frame, is louder than someone getting out of bed..

nel. there is no mistake that's exactly what you heard.. window sliding , and slamming on frame.

Oscar.. I was frozen for a few seconds. . I rushed to get my firearm..

Nel. yeeeeeeeeees??

I rushed into the passage. I whispered to reeva to call the police..

Nel. and did you look at her when you said that??

no. I kept my eye on the passage..

Nel and you never asked reeva what she heard?? she is awake..

Oscar.. there was no doubt in my mind, Ididnt need confirmation..

Nel that is a reasonable thing to do.. in the past, when you heard a noise yu discussed this with miss taylor.

at one occasion. I heard a noise downstairs.. Ichecked with Taylor. it was my dog running around downstairs knocking over chairs.. this time I knew what it was. I said reeve get down and call the police..

Nel. but you never looked at her. .

Oscar.. I didn't whisper. I said in a soft manner..

nel. whats the difference??

Isaid it in a soft manner..

nel. you are not mistaken?? lots of details,

Ididnt hear a response..

nel. and that didn't bother you?? no response?

Oscar. I was already making my way to the passage..

nel. the one thing you are 100% happy with is that duvet isn't there, but the denim was..

Oscar. it was in the vicinity..

nel one step further.

Why's he insisiting on changing the whisper he was so certain about yesterday, to 'soft manner' now?

  • #230
"I'd already grabbed my firearm when I told Reeva to get down......."

  • #231
Nel now quizzing him on the obvious question we've all been wanting the answer to .. when he heard the noise of the window sliding and then went for his gun, why did he not ask Reeva "Did you hear that?" before going off on his shooting spree

  • #232
N: One big problem, the denim's lying on the duvet

O: I don't see how that's a problem, if everything in the room was moved..I don't see that's a problem...

  • #233
Oops, he said yesterday he "whispered to her" and also today he did today again, I think. Now, suddenly, says he said he only said it "softly".

He just can't remember this important detail, yet he just changed his version of the sound that terrified him is the the window noise that's now a 'slid and slam'.

  • #234
O: I'm saying it doesn't fit with my version of what happened but if everything was moved...

N: So police had to pick duvet up, put it down and put the jeans on top of it? Why would they do that?

  • #235
Ohhhh a big reveal! The jeans are on the duvet!

N: Police had to open curtains, switch the light on, move the fans and put the jeans on top of the duvet...

Roux seems to be whispering rapidly in background?

He just can't remember this important detail, yet he just changed his version of the sound that terrified him is not the the window that 'slid and slammed'.

Yep he did say whisper.

  • #239
N asks if OP's lying and UP pops Roux, talking about photo perceptions, which stopped OP answering...

  • #240
Oscar has the weakest excuses I've ever heard.

RT @barrybateman: #OscarTrial Pistorius: can’t explain why the police would move all these items around the room. BB
