That's what kids and spouses are for :D

Lol, it doesn't work with dogs! Mine pinched the lovely Kase brotchen I posted a pic of earlier.

Sorry, think there should be an umlaut there on kase, but no idea where to find it...

N: Did you try and switch that off (other lights)?

O: I don't remember..even if I did, I don't think the light would have gone on, it's there to indicate the power source is on...

N: You have to create time. On your version, you have to build in a time gap for Reeva to get to the bathroom...

O: If I wanted to create time...Samantha Taylor said it takes four mins for me to get my legs on...it's got nothing to do with time...

OP sounds as though he is about to break down, and not in the usual emotional way either....

Oops... Oscar has now made an association with putting on his legs during that period of time. That combined with the description of his body position (elbow bent) as he approaches the passageway strongly suggests he was on his prosthetics.

Do you mean OP's unravelling? Because I think he is too, for real.

'

I think he is too and it is not surprising . This is like a boxing match between a featherweight and a heavyweight .OP is just not as smart at Nel and I have to keep thinking of Reeva to stop myself from feeling sorry for him.
It is worrying though that under cross a person can be pushed into saying something to incriminate themselves that is not necessarily true .
I keep thinking about how Roux got the photographer to say the bat must have been moved when it hadn't ,it was just the perspective of the photo.

I don't think he's coming back. I think his little planned drama moment didn't go off the way he wanted ... and he's hysterical now.

Seems a long "composure" break this time!

  • #225
Since we are waiting, why would blood spatter be on the duvet? I'm not up on this part, but didn't he take Reeva from the bathroom to downstairs?

It almost sounds to me as if he in on tranquilizers in order to keep him calm/not get too agitated/snap in a fit of rage.

That's what I was thinking too.

So is the multiplug, and there are no ipads or cases. I don't know how they can even refer to these photos when things are obviously moved around

I think that until the DT brings their witness to actually all the alleged moving around of objects at the crime scene, it is being grossly exaggerated by some. Even Roux the other day seemed to recognise their mistake with what he ignorantly called "photo deception" relevant to the bat having been moved and not lining up with the tiles in the same place when Roux was comparing two photos taken from two totally different places/angles, i.e. one was taken from the handle end and the other from the bat end, which only showed what Brunelleschi discovered during the renaissance, i.e. the foreshortening of objects when represented in 2D perspective.

Wish we had a **** of Roux's face when OP shouted

.. I think you might be right .. I can't see how he can possibly go on .. he's making a total and utter fool of himself with all this and he knows it ..

N: That particular noise caused you to take immediate action?

O: That's not correct. I froze for a moment...then I ran to get my gun.

I then collected my firearm from under the bed, took it out of the holster and told Reeva to get down..

then i ran to get my gun - on the stumps? the gun was only a few feet away.

another thing that happened though imo... he did run to get his gun

Eh, I kind of disagree. He's offering fewer lengthy explanations to questions that weren't asked - he's asking for clarification more and at least speaking up when he doesn't understand a question. And he's resorted more to "I don't know why ...." which is probably the best answer he can give to some of these questions because Nel can't really do anything with that, but Roux can redirect him on those issues and get the information out that the defense needs.

I too think OP is doing better in that aspect too. I know I mentioned last week that I didn't understand why he didn't just answer " I don't know" instead all his long rambling replies last week that seemed to have little to do with the question being asked.

Yes, I can well imagine him shouting out "get the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 out of my house .. get the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 out of my house!" .. but not to a suspected intruder ..

.. he didn't sound like a woman either, if that was meant to have been his example of being able to scream like a woman .. a man cannot ever sound like a woman .. blimey, even men who are transgender have enough problems trying to speak like a woman.

The first one was poor, but he did well IMO with the second one. I just played it back. you know me by now. but I have to say if you just listen to the second one...

I just knew it would be coming. Maybe judge was wise to stop when she did. Oscar the woman might have been up there for a while...

Only thing needed now is for Oscar to do comingling voices--male and female simultaneously.

Nothing would surprise me at this point due to some deep things. Let Nel grill him on the witness saying she overheard male and female voices intermingled, and see if he/they can do it?

I don't think there's any question that objects were moved. The photos show that's the case.

I do think Oscar sounds like a female when he gets really upset. I don't think it's an act either.

  • #237
One of the few missing pieces for me was the strangeness of OP not having his prosthetics on.

I am now convinced he did indeed have them on, using words such as 'ran' and 'kneel'

  • #238
I put it to you that OP is fighting for his life.

Moo

yes i do. he has had enough of the incessant questioning, and he knows nel will keep pressing and pressing and pressing. imo

Someone earlier mentioned tranquilizers? I just saw this tweet on the video page I'm watching.

Karyn Maughan @karynmaughan
#OscarPistorius appears exhausted, medicated. @eNCAnews

No fair! "appears exhausted" was last weeks excuse. He needs to come up with a new one this week to shut Nel down at least for today.

IMO, OP is guilty in my book and wouldn't tell the truth at gunpoint. Why lie and argue if he is so innocent? It is simply because he is lying (IMO) and has to remember those lies. The truth remains the truth and can be told at the drop of a hat because it doesn't change. The truth for OP today will be completely different later on today or tomorrow. I've never seen anything like it.
