Information from court reporters suggest that OP hasn't looked at either Nel or Roux all the time he's been on the stand. He's constantly looked in the direction of Judge Masipa.

If OP cut the Miladies, the time of the trial could be significantly reduced. It might be appropriate, but it sounds sycophantic.

Where was the magazine rack then ? Did she pick it up to use it to protect herself? Or if the the far right against the two walls as OP says did it get knocked there as she fell on it?

Why was he doing all this, trying to break the door down and running around, still with the gun in his hand? It just stands to reason he would've put it down on the floor at least by the time he was charging the door with his shoulder ..

Reason.. exactly --- poor reasoning/ the kid is a good actor... I really think he may be telling the truth... but then I think about his rage... and the lunch she had with the ex... and the complete irrational process of a bathroom burgler.

I watched a video of him on YT - one from back during his better days ( when he was on top of the world.. living a life of infinite happiness... one where he smiles every second of every hour ( ahh, like me back in my college days... now its just , bad, cough) anyway, here he is , speaking to how he is only the second South African to be in an international fragrance commercial ( after C. Theron, who, for some reason decided to hook up with Sean Penn ( talk t me, ladies, yes, he has 2 Oscars, and he is a massive talent, but he is a heart throb?) anyway, he cheated on her with a French model.

In the end, it was interesting to watch... a bit of his arrogance came out, but he also preached some valuable theories on perseverance. Mansion, Porsche... this is really a an alluring state of play here... to be where he was...

... just need to know...

cece5300: Oh gosh...poor, poor Reeva. She was so excited for Valentines Day... Her last moments must have been so terrifying, hiding in the bathroom from your own boyfriend. It's really affecting me today. Hopefully he is genuinely remorseful. Reeva deserves justice

i brought the above post over from the previous thread... this is exactly what happened to me in early 2011... and i honestly didn't put two and two together until this evening. i was being yelled at and held back to a wall... then he --for the first AND ONLY time-- threw a fist up to my forehead and threatened "i oughta f------ hit you!!!" i got around and away from him and raced to the bathroom, grabbing my phone as i ran. (long story short: i called 911, police came, told him to leave his house for the night, i packed, called movers and left the next day... i haven't seen or had any interaction with him since)...

thanks to everyone for the trial updates, comments and continued opinions. you are all amazing!! it sucks i am going to bed when the trial begins each day and i have to catch up hours later, without the ability to take part in the thread in real time, but what can ya do? lol

If the magazine rack was in the far corner would seem to void the defence's ballistic expert that it was the rack that caused the back wounds and confirm Mangena's opinion that those wounds were caused by a ricocheting bullet.

I find it incredibly disturbing, thinking about the Reeva Steenkamp’s pain and terror at those last moments.

I user to be in a DV relationship. Running to lock myself in the toilet with him smashing on the other side is all too familiar to me. Thank god my ex was not a gun nut and Australia doesn't have laws that make it easy to get a gun.
