Whew, that was one highly charged session.

A lot of Sleuths have just left to get some sleep.

I'll bet M'lady is taking a little nap, right now, too.

Nel has a smile on his face, Roux has an ice pack on his head,

OP is trying to figure out who to verbally accost,

and Wollie has no idea where he is or what he's doing.

Dixon's chugging down another beer.

He has agreed with Nel that the magazine rack could not be the cause of the striation on Reeva's back wound/bruise.

Nel took the long way home with Woll to get to that point.. it was so fascinating to watch and hear.. Nel had about 5 irons in the fire, but he had to get Wollie into a receptive and calm state of mind.. till Woll could see what so clearly is..

HLN just reported that the Prosecutor is harassing the expert witness.......wth???

Not now, but at the start, he was pretty aggressive, over the report. Nel was going for the jugular back then. I thought poor Woolie was going to stroke out.
:panic:

Humph. I think that's because the witness isn't coping well on the stand and shouldn't really be on it (in my opinion). I don't think Nel's doing anything wrong. I just think the witness is a bit distressed because he is in poor health.

He is hard of hearing
Has just had a back OP and is physically uncomfortable
Appears to have laboured breathing
Appears to have some trouble gathering his thoughts enough to make a cogent point

It is a little serrated edge on the edge of one wound..

I can't see the corresponding edge on the bullet core either though....
I think I see it on the fragment.

Me neither .. I would love to see that core in RL to check it out! .. would also like to be able to measure the ribbing of the knit in Reeva's top to see if it is the exact same size as the striation marks on the wound .. has this actually been done by any of the experts? W obv doesn't seem to know as he can only guess re. Reeva's vest matching up with it from what he said.

Oscar is playing Camille again.. head down , head in hands, its all too much..

get real, Oscar.
I have no doubt he peaks through his fingers. It's all drama for him.

the fabric of the vest would soften and simplify all the edges of the wound. moo

Good morning everyone!! I started late so was reading from the start of the thread. Thank you all for the input, it's great to be able to catch up.

Am I alone in my Nel fan club? :loveyou: Huge crush ....

Certainly not alone, I love the guy, he is mesmerising in his ability to finally get his point across despite all the hedging around the issue by the witnesses.

:loveyou: Mr Nel you are brilliant!

welcome to the long queue... :drumroll:

A girl can dream ....

That coat stuff was quite funny between Wolmarans and Milady :)

I love how he knows his stuff inside out and can dart around the facts and come back to them later to get what he wants. He's quick.

nel gets another piece of agreement on mangena's evidence.

the dt are not really changing much at all, imo. i really thought this guy was going to be more specific about the position that op shot from, the height, and the lack of gun aim.

Well Nel did point out the area on the bullet and area on the bruise but I could not see it either I'm afraid.

Look at the bullet fragment and then divide your focus of its surface in to two areas of the fragment. Divide it down the middle from left to right. The fragment has a pronounced higher surface area and it has a lower or recessed surface area, like a step. The higher area is what hit Reeva's back against her shirt and left the striated mark on her skin.

The fragment seems to have hit at an angle, forcing blood to move outward from the mark, making the mark somewhat larger in the shape of a teardrop.

Hope that helps.
