J: The aim of the referral is not to punish the accused twice, so if there is a possibility of an outpatient basis, it would be preferable.

  • #202
ok and that's that for today , folks.

  • #203
What? Outpatient? But, but, but.........

  • #204
Outpatient......so not to punish him twice?

  • #205
J: I shall grant that order!!!!

Brilliant! The order for independent mental health assessment was needed IMO. But is may be defeated by the outpatient basis, as OP needs to be removed from his family 'culture and influence' during the assessment period IMO. They need to observe his sleep patterns and level of agitation at night, etc.

The lack of space in state institutions is going to allow OP to take his treatment at home.

  • #207
And.... She grants it...

Wow. Just... WOW.... Thanks for all these updates guys, those of us stuck without live feed really appreciate it! :loveyou:

And court adjourned until Tuesday.

  • #209
I really like this Judge. :)

'outpatient' .. give me bluddy strength :banghead:

You know, I think the judge is buying all his 'intruder' crap.

  • #211
Well, I was wrong. I just don't think this should be done on an outpatient basis, though. OP gets all the breaks.

MOO

  • #212
an outpatient? that is very annoying. he is just going to postpone this a bit. And still be out free on bail. ffs

  • #213
Curious that the judge sees him being assessed in the hospital as punishment though.

  • #214
Looks like my hubby might have the pleasure of my company for a while ;-)

Haha yes! Hubby has just commented that I am going to feel totally lost now.

  • #215
OP is off to the psych ward.

  • #216
*swearing* on this side of the world
He's just scored himself a bloody 30 day holiday!

Justice waits...

OP thought it was a joke.

Roux is lucky that OP is not holding a gun right now :P

  • #219
Roux talking about OP being an outpatient?

Doesn't matter whether in or outpatient . It will still clear things up and Nel will have benefit of additional info . Home goal for the defence IMO .

Outpatient......so not to punish him twice?

Can we read into this that he is likely to be punished at the conclusion of the Trial?
