Witness failed to answer Roux's question about witness discrepancy in the two statements. Said the only misunderstanding's between him and Roux. Roux just left it there.

Prof S has an ethical issue..will give graphic evidence about pm on deceased. He feels it shouldn't be sent out into whole world. Not about press freedom, it's respect and dig nity for deceased.

Sounds like the ME is about to testify.

We may not be able to listen to his testimony.

Nel has been informed media have made submissions re this and will have to be given opp to address court.

Judge asks what do we do in meantime. Nel says stand down.

the matter of the injuries being made public will be under adjudication for the moment...

I think another adjournment..

Not right IMO.Ths what freedom of press IS all about.

and are they saying only audio to be disallowed?
they will end up publishing the text in print media anyway?

in my opinion.. Baba got his point across.and its a crucial point, that he, Baba, rang Oscar because Stipp had rang him reporting shouts, screams gunshots... directing Baba in Oscars home direction... which is why Baba rang Oscars number... Oscar says,, everythings fine....

crucial stuff.

What do you think the judge will do here?

As a human being, of course I understand their argument. But as a sleuther/trial watcher/member of the public, it will be hard to have this big chunk of evidence missing from the story.

Are phone records in South Africa accurate?

That was my concern earlier. I could see there may be discrepancies between landline and cell phone timings but hoped that the police would have checked this and indicated if there was a problem.

I just cannot imagine the level of the horror of these injuries..... I just cant, and I am not sure I need to..

I have a better appreciation now of Oscar vomiting under the hint of this matter the other day... he suddenly started to gulp then he hurled..

well..
