VZ:...shows these people have less control ...in response to fear

  • #822
Is this the final defense witness?

  • #823
And I thought the blood spatter experts in the OJ trial were boring :(

This is getting ridiculous. Why is he talking about attacks in other countries on other Para-Olympians with disabilities. What crimes have been committed against OP?

The judge should step in and stop all this nonsense, too .. this has no relevance whatsoever ..

DID OP AND REEVA ARGUE THAT NIGHT OR NOT??

That is all we want to know.

I didn't think it could get MORE boring than Dr Lin....but it has....:waiting:

VZ: 'Startle and reactivity' disorders....

So is he suggesting OP has yet another disorder?

VZ: I understand that's a lot of medical jargon so I'm going to explain slowly....

For gods sake get him off

  • #830
Yes. Phew!

I always thought that the defense tries to go out with a big, important witness. Something to put an exclamation point on the whole thing. This is quite anti-climactic. It is like sitting in a college course you are forced to take during the summer.

Please do not tell me this is going to lead to another 30 days' evaluation.

But does sound like new groundwork for appeal is been laid. Nel's got to object, surely?

  • #832
That's what I thought, so is he making a mistake?

I just searched Google - perhaps flight and fright can be used interchangeably.

Is he still doing this? I thought it was just a slip of the tongue earlier. No, it can't be used interchangeably .. 'fight' is just that .. 'fight' .. the whole point of the phenomenon is that you either 'take flight' or you 'stay and fight'

Is this the final defense witness?

Yes but he's yet to get into how breastfeeding determines the development of the hippocampus in disabled people - telephonically :p

This is getting quite ridiculous now.:banghead:
Polar Bears!! Give me a break.
What's next? Cersei Lannister was in the bathroom?

  • #835
Oh FFS--now he says he is going to go more SLOWLY.....noooooooooo

I bet the standard psych tests don't include those for 'startle disorder'. So would be basis for appeal maybe? If OP could only be diagnosed with it....but who could possibly do that?

Nothing seems relevant to OP!

Reminds me of orals we had at school on a specific subject, and someone did a talk on their pet rock.
