VZ: I received a call from coach informing me there was an issue. Didn't take much notice, I was swamped.

N: Your comeback was "I have to tell the court there was a withdrawal last night'. Nowhere did he say Oscar was NOT screaming on the phone.

VZ: That's correct.

I'm not following what this has to do with Oscar's guilt or innocence. Anyone?

VZ: I honestly cannot recall arranging for Samantha to go to any games....

And Nel is producing evidence to the contrary, showing email to Sam's mother.

This witness is looking dishonest, imo.

Nel's reading out part of the letter to Sam. OP refers to VZ arranging a ticket.

Correction, it's an email from OP to Sam, saying he did 'everything' to try and get a ticket for Sam.

VZ: I honestly can't recall arranging a ticket to Olympics.

N: ....so Oscar's mail to her is a lie?

VZ is trying to avoid calling OP a liar, while at the same time insisting he was never asked to arrange tickets for Samantha.

Thats what I thought. I just dont see how this cross examination is relevant to anything other than to make Samantha Taylor feel better.

And of course he might have lied to Samantha and told her he wanted her to go to London but he really didnt.

VZ cannot recall being asked to source/arrange a ticket for Sam.

VZ knew OP was in love with Sam.

It has to do with the veracity of this witness, and thus the defense team, in general.

Also, he is being caught out in a lie right now. He said that Reeva was the first gf ever invited to his races. But now we find out he invited Taylor to the London Olympics.

Quite frankly I don't think this witness has added anything for the defence either...other than OP clutching his arm when they were in New York once.
