Really not much of a sentencing case put up by Nel although both witnesses were superb. He really could have just rested before the lunch adjournment so maybe he was intending to call Sam Taylor's mum and then all that nonsense in the benches dissuaded him.

Sky News say there are rumours Masipa might make some time available next Tuesday to hand down sentence.

I wish Roux could be held to that by JMasipa, I bet he will give it to Nel 9am tomorrow, I hope I'm wrong.

Nel and his team really work hard for every cent they are paid, imo.

Nel said he can't submit his heads of argument to judge, until he has seen defenses. Which he hasn't yet. So I think that was a way of attempting to prevent defense handing him theirs five mins before court begins, so he doesn't have time to read them, let alone answer points in his own report?

I am listening to the Oscar Channel on Radio 702 on an iPad. There is an App for it and I am having no problems though this morning there were very short (a few seconds) here and there.
