Yes, I caught that. But did he tell photo man that, and then go off and wash them and photo man allowed him to? Or had he already done it, and photo man asked why his hands were clean? That's where I am unclear.

bbm

he had already done it, blew it off by saying he had permission to do it. .

like.. as if..

So he just washed his hands 'because they had blood on them', even though his arm was covered too and he did not wash that.

I wonder if the judge is entitled to conclude from that, OP was attempting to obstruct justice and likely knew about the evidence gunpowder residue on his hands could provide?

I missed today's trial and can't find an archived livestream of it could anyone post a link ?
Thanks so much !!:please:

I missed the after coffee session but thanks for the commentary folks. My conclusion is that Roux is really struggling if he is having to make so much of today's evidence. OP has admitted he killed Reeva. Whether it was with one hand or two, would it matter too much? Even if he did wash his hands he has admitted he fired the gun and why did it matter how many photos were taken? He obviously would like to get Botha back on the stand. This alone goes to show the weakness of Roux's arguments, IMO. There is plenty enough evidence without having to drag Botha back.

Victim of what???

That the case went to court, he feels that it was purely an accident & shouldn't have been charged, so now he's a victim.......This is according to family & friends, according to reporter who has had many conversations with them

Nel obviously believes he has a strong and winnable case in spite of Botha's nuttiness...Nels doesn't seem at all concerned about Botha.. and I don't think Roux is going to win this case on the basis of Botha being nutso.. its just not enough.

Oscar reminds me of Wayne Carey.. heh.

And of course, it is damaging to OP for it to seem he wanted to remove gunpowder evidence from his hands, because that would suggest the evidence was maybe not that Reeva was shot from behind a door.

I am wondering how close he was when the head shot that finished her was fired, I really am. This crime is looking nastier and nastier to me, as it goes on.

Pure desperation from Roux, I think everyone has stopped being fooled by his attempts to confuse and misconstrue, and the thing is the judge probably never bought into it to begin with.

wooo.. this 9 gun invoice.. he was in the process of being well and truly armed to the teeth.. .. one in each hand..

now your average person may only own 1 gun for self defence.. can own 3 more for sporting purposes..

can have more after being registered and investigated as a collector or a specialist of some sort..

he had an assault rifle on order..

imagine the damage that would have done in tashas restaurant..

I think that's disgraceful. Even if he thinks that, anyone with an ounce of sensitivity would surely refrain from saying something like that, knowing it would be bound to cause great distress or anger from the undisputed victim's family. Poor Reeva suffered a horrible, terrifying death at the hands of someone she trusted.

Complete travesty he classes himself along with her, as a 'victim'. He did the shooting. No-one else.

a bloke on the commenting broadcast is going thru the process of being a gun owner in SA.. saying its vigorous, rigorous.. etc.

its a teddy bears picnic compared to the regulations I live with..

which I don't mind living with, I hasten to add.

I just read where Reeva's mother June, got up and left the courtroom when pictures where being shown. My heart aches for her.

#OscarPistorius Aimee Pistorius is now talking to June. Her eyes red. I can't hear what's she's saying. Talking softly.RE

He had collections of sunglasses and watches, so I'm hoping the guns were yet another one. Otherwise, it is quite chilling.

Anyone notice how the home was very neat and tidy and uncluttered, aside from the wreckage on the night? It won't be believable to me if OP tries to say the bedroom door and lounge window were damaged previously and he just left them like that. He does not seem the type to me. Too controlled and orderly...when he's not completely losing it.

I'd be very surprised if anyone on that estate , or its neighbors around the area did the cleaning themselves.. a whole army of ladies leave early , or live in garage things and do the neat and tidy stuff.

his Jacuzzi was broken and also his air conditioner.. and it was summer.. sounds like a bloke who doesn't know the meaning of the words ' to fix'..

the air conditioning being broken.. that reminded me. of something....now Ive forgotten it again.

I am sorry for this graphic photo, but this is what I meant earlier about blood on the toilet rim. On the right hand side there is a very clean, straight edge of rim. It doesn't really make sense, unless perhaps Reeva's arm was somehow laying along it. But even then, there should be smears on the outer edge, I'd have thought?

To be fair the words were from family & friends, not directly from his mouth. But in saying that I believe he feels as a huge sporting celebrity he should be treated differently
