Is that a cartridge case in the bottom right corner of the toilet rim?

He had collections of sunglasses and watches, so I'm hoping the guns were yet another one. Otherwise, it is quite chilling.

edited by me.

the sunnies were gifts from his sunglasses sponsor. ditto the watches..he is sponsored by a watchmaking firm...

the guns were his own idea of a 'collection'..

cant see Glock for example, sponsoring Oscar as their selling point any time soon. .

'be like Oscar... buy our gun, shoot the 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 out of your girlfriend and spend your days in court vomiting and your life in prison'..

Blood spatter on the bedroom wall by the bed. Blood spatter in the bedroom on and in the watch case. Blood inside the duvet. A rifle with a silencer by the bedroom door with a hole in it. Damage to the bedroom door. Seems there was a lot going on there that hasn't been talked about.

I'd be very surprised if anyone on that estate , or its neighbors around the area did the cleaning themselves.. a whole army of ladies leave early , or live in garage things and do the neat and tidy stuff.

his Jacuzzi was broken and also his air conditioner.. and it was summer.. sounds like a bloke who doesn't know the meaning of the words ' to fix'..

the air conditioning being broken.. that reminded me. of something....now Ive forgotten it again.

I, too, doubt whether he does anything himself. We know he has an in-house gardener and a housekeeper who lived, I believe, at the bottom of his garden but I stand to be corrected on the housekeeper's accommodation.

Both fans inside but one (black) unplugged from the socket in the bedroom wall, the other plugged in but switched off, I think. That doesn't really fit with someone pulling them both in from the balcony in the early hours in pitch black either....

Don't forget the 'stolen' watch. Which it seems OP may have had an opportunity to take himself, when ( probably before, considering the blood) he washed his hands. Though quite where he would have put it I don't know, as I am presuming he was searched, though I have not seen any physical search of his short pockets mentioned yet. Or even if he had any.

It's also odd there didn't seem to be a description of the safe contents, apart from a box of cartridges.

something in all those photos taken that morning point to the police concluding that Oscars story was rubbish.... by the time Van Statden had done a first track of the scene.. Oscar was being arrested in his garage..\

the ear witnesses came later. Fresco, Samantha, etc.. all later on.

so the reason for the arrest, on that particular charge is right there, in Van Stats photographs.... ...

I don't pretend to know which photo it is!!

but it is certainly one, or a series of them that points to the arrest of Oscar in his garage that morning.

  • #331
Something in those photos . that the police saw and photographed.... showed them that he didn't fire thru the door at a perceived intruder...

The blood splatters are very confusing. If OP's story is true then Reeva did not start bleeding until she was in the toilet, and the only opportunity for her blood to drip anywhere was when he was carrying her down the stairs. This fits with the drops and smears on the staircase and bannister but not with the ones behind the bed, on the duvet or in the little sitting room downstairs.

The spots of blood on the sofas downstairs look to be perfectly round, which suggests a straight drop rather than spray through the railings as he was coming downstairs with her.

I suspect that the blood splatter testimony will be extremely illuminating.

And I agree with you, Zwi about the immaculate state of the house......very neat, well cared for and everything in it's place. A broken window and door left for a while seems at odds - and even if the bullet hole in the door has been there a while, it still tells us something about OP's fixation and irresponsibility with guns. How many people have bullet holes in their bedroom doors, for goodness sake?

Not a good day for the DT today. Evidence that asks more questions than it answers, and Roux did look at bit lost at times. Almost as if he recognises how damning it all is and was relying on suggestions of police incompetence to cast a shadow over all of it. Witness was too good though and that didn't work, IMO.

Heck yea! Blood spatter all over the place. Doors with holes and damage. The cops have seen plenty of break ins and shootings. They know a domestic violence scene when they see one.

Oh, btw - could he have washed his hands and face when he nipped upstairs while Dr Stipp was there?

What does the damaged bedroom door say? There's only one reason for it, VIOLENCE.

Mrs Steenkamp is in court.. she lives in Port Elizabeth, not Pretoria..

apparently. Oscar muttered , Good morning Maam, to mrs Steenkamp..

gives her a nod..

OP and his sister were most likely instructed to great Mrs. Steenkamp because a large portion of the media has slanted their coverage in favor of OP, and this will become the headline for today's coverage:

"Oscar Pistorius is Forgiven by Reeva's Mother" or something like that. There will also be photos everywhere, diverting attention from the testimony. Same thing happened when OP's vomits in court. That becomes the headline, not the essence of the testimony.

"An out-of-court settlement following months of negotiations between Oscar Pistorius' lawyers and representatives of the parents of his slain girlfriend could work against the Olympic athlete at his March murder trial, a legal expert said Thursday.
The two sides have been in ongoing talks since about August, a lawyer for Reeva Steenkamp's family told The Associated Press in email correspondence, and a settlement could involve Pistorius paying Steenkamp's family in the region of $275,000, according to media reports."

Wow. Can't believe his lawyer would allow him to settle before a verdict.

  • #339
Seems a little less than generous. Not that I think money will have been the reason for Reeva's family bringing the case. It's about much more than that, I feel....

  • #340
Oh, but the article does say they relied on Reeva's financial help. So they were left with the loss of a daughter and financial struggles?

But the man who supposedly loved her and says he shot her, and declared he earned $5.6m a year, has spent months haggling over less than $300,000?
