The blood on the watches box is very peculiar - it's a smear rather than a drop so suggests actual touching.

When he nipped up to wash his hands and face could he have slipped off a watch he was wearing and put it back in the box? Then later thought better of it and took it back and gave it to brother or sister? Maybe it was smashed in a tussle with Reeva and he realised it looked bad?

Blood spatter on the bedroom wall by the bed. Blood spatter in the bedroom on and in the watch case. Blood inside the duvet. A rifle with a silencer by the bedroom door with a hole in it. Damage to the bedroom door. Seems there was a lot going on there that hasn't been talked about.

The ear-witnesses have already talked about what they heard going on at OP's house the night he killed RS.

The physical evidence is 100% consistent with the witnesses who heard a man and woman arguing, and then heard the blood-curdling screams of terror by the woman, followed by gunshots, then silence.

It's not surprising that the physical evidence matches the witness testimony. It would be surprising if it didn't.

OP's story about what happened is the only thing that causes confusion.

All the physical evidence and witness testimony match -there was a fight between OP and RS. OP got out his gun and killed RS.

Witnesses heard what happened. The physical evidence confirms what the witnesses heard. RS was terrified, screaming because she trapped and was being hunted down by an angry man who was about to kill her.

He did.

Prosecution needs to drive home the point that the prior time when Oscar went into "Code Red, combat mode" he took the time to investigate and carefully check the house eventually determining it was the washing machine that freaked him out. However, this time we are supposed to believe he never even bothered to look around the same room he was in and check the bed to see if Reeva was there? Never call out her name? Give me a freakin' break.

Even if he is a loose cannon (which I do believe he is), it doesn't pass the sniff test.

All of the evidence (thus far) makes sense in the context of a fight that got out of hand.

None of it does in the face of OP's version.

That's significant. Although, obviously, we have some way to go yet.

Incidentally, responding to an O/T comment about Roux's style earlier. I'm British and our barristers do use the same terminology - all the "I put it to you"s and "What do you have to say about that?"'s is very familiar (well, according to our TV shows - we don't have televised trials!). It's all about the fact that they can't make statements, only pose questions.

The big difference between us and SA that I can see is that witnesses seem to be able to watch the trial before giving evidence themselves. I'm pretty sure here that you can't do that until after you've been on the stand - I suppose so that you can't change your evidence based on what you hear in court.

If you count the lines for each side, the line 8 on Quantity side matches up with line 8 on Unit Price side so the ammo used at the range was R4.15. The R15,000.00 was for the Vektor LM-6 Rifle 5.56 cal.
