'The test that the court applies is - would a reasonable person who faced the same or a similar situation to your own have acted in the same or a similar manner in the same circumstances. You should therefore only use your firearm for self or private defence if you are satisfied that your actions are reasonable.'

OP to the Police : " I always win."

Botha was outside the garage in the kitchen area...and OP went off to wash his hands??

VS: 'Botha came to me and informed me the accused had indeed washed his hands. He asked the accused if he's washed his hands and he admitted he had.'

Not sure - was VS saying there that OP told him he had permission to wash his hands, and marched off to do it in front of him?

Once Dr Stipp had left the crime scene, after confirming that Reeva was dead, and before the first cops including VR arrived, Oscar and his cronies had the crime scene to themselves, during this period white towel lady and lawyer Carice Stander advised him to wash his hands and face to destruct evidence.Fresh white towels were utilized as emergency gloves to move things around..The blood stained white towels found in the tub indicates a story of it own,if she rushed up to the first floor the unsecured crime scene to bring fresh towels downstairs to bandage Reeva wounds, then took them back up and dumped them in the tub and why?

On Barry Bateman's twitter he says the 'fragments' discussed today, which I wondered about, were of the hollow point bullets. One had Reeva's hair tangled around it.

So OP ordered two handguns, two shotguns and one assault rifle. Which of those guns did he not take possession of, or was it all of them?

I thought at one point today that VS the photographer said he did, but I wasn't sure. He definitely said he moved them - either into or out of the tub. AFTER he had taken first crime scene pics, not before though.

The Vektor LM-6 Rifle is an assault rifle. Pic below of what one looks like. I find it hard to comprehend what a regular person would need with one.

Power. (Overcompensating for being half a man)

The agent said the whole order was cancelled after Reeva was shot. Dunno if OP got a refund.

That's what I heard today too. He discovered the phone under the towels when he picked them up and put them in the tub as he was photographing the bathroom.

The Hornady XPT 350g 500 S&W bullets has the following listed in its description on a site where you can buy ammo:

"This ammunition is from the Hornady Custom line of pistol ammo and loaded with their famous Hornady XTP (Extreme Terminal Performance) bullet. Like all Hornady products, this .500 Smith & Wesson Magnum cartridge is manufactured using Hornady's high-quality components and rigourous manufacturing processes that ensure each cartridge is loaded for optimal performance characteristics from lot to lot

This ammunition has shown to be a very accurate and powerful performer when hunting big game!"

Now why would OP buy something that is said to be very accurate when hunting big game?

So then how many guns did OP actually have in his possession? And if the whole order was cancelled then does that mean that OP did not use the ammo at the range beforehand?

Shooting the Vektor LM6 Assault Rifle !!! - YouTube

I agree that the avg person won't NEED one. They are actually quite thrilling to shoot when on a safe range. It's a sport for many so its not unusual to have several different types of guns.

Something in those photos . that the police saw and photographed.... showed them that he didn't fire thru the door at a perceived intruder...

* s.o.m.e.t.h.i.n.g.!!...

Thanks for your many 1a posts, I haven't answered with "Thanks"!

When VR and Botha were touring through OP's home, they did know only this: A man (OP) had shot his girlfriend in the toilet cubicle because of thinking there were burglars in this corner. The dead person, covered in blood, was laying downstairs.

What didn't fit the puzzle, was anything but: bullets, cartridges and blood around the toilet cubicle and blood traces between bathroom and the last stair on the ground floor.

Didn't fit and being suspect: bedroom door with hole/damage, blood everywhere in the bedroom (duvet, wall above bedside table, couch, box with several watches), cartridge in the passage, blood on tiles above bassins, cellphones on the floor, blood on cricket bat.
Did I forgot something?
Yes: the airgun standing within range.
Something more??

That's true. I go to the range and can shoot anything they have there. The uzi was very exciting, but I would never want it in my home. Theres no need to own one to shoot one at the range.

One other thing that puzzled me today - the photographer said he took photos of the cartridges and contents of the safe, then it was all handed to OP's brother Carl, who passed it to Oldwage.

I guess they were sure there was no evidence to me, but it still seems a little strange. OP's brother in the garage with him, then collecting stuff from the safe, meanwhile, OP's sister was allowed upstairs to fetch his clothes. I know they were accompanied but it seems to me OP and family were given a lot of leeway at the crime scene.....

Oscar said he had permission to wash his hands.. now.. this I doubt.. for all the obvious reasons. maybe Clarice Standar washed his hands for him.

While Stander guarded the entrance of his home, inside Carice did an excellent job working Pro bono for Oscar, after all what are friends for :)

Perhaps his next event? Obviously he loves to risk everything.

I thought, it has been only the towel which covered the phone on the bathroom floor?
