He also wanted to know the position of the deceased.

'He got a picture of the injures of the deceased from pm photos'

And her clothes, including the vest/tank

  • #302
Reeva's body tissue was on the right side of the vest.

Bullet holes plural in the vest.

They are now seeing face of the deceased. It's not being shown in court.

  • #303
Bullet holes in the vest?

I had no idea Reeva had been shot in the chest.

Van Staden had also talked about a hole in the vest and in her chest.

  • #304
Bullet wound upper right arm front is an entrance wound, back of arm is exit wound.

Now hip. He wanted height of that wound. Close-up.

Close-up of bruise on her chest 'Projectile did not penetrate there'

Height of bruise was measured and was.....they don't say.

  • #305
Bruises on 'back of the deceased'

Where?

I lost my sound for a sec!

  • #306
Nel and Cpt have out of sync pic numbers......66/64

Nel requests one is changed, Judge says then you have to change all the others....

She was hit on the chest but it didn't enter her body?

How peculiar. That wasn't mentioned in the autopsy evidence, was it? Although someone else did mention a hole in her vest top.

  • #309
he has to be familiar with all the wounds, of whatever source of the deceased..

going thru the injuries caused by one bullet the one that hit her arm AND upperarm

the wound on the hip... pic 58

59 a bruise on the chest of the dec.. not penetrative..

61... height of that bruise was measured..

62 shows the bruises on the BACK of the dec..

one has to relate these bruises with the track of the bullets, or other weaponry

63 64... pics of wounds on the middle finger of her left hand..

65 ... shows the two wounds in the head of the dec..

entrance wound ,, and exit wound..

66... left hand side is the entrance wound, right hand side, exit wound..

The pic shows wound sustained Reeva's hand.

Now, before he was interrupted, ballistics man began 'The bullet wound' but afterwards just said that was 'a wound'.

This guy said holes plural.

He worked with accused's version of events as well, when reconstructing scene.

I'm voting for that to be his new official title! Mr. Ballistics Man. :giggle:

he looks at the version of the accused.. he shot her on his stumps. .so the captain has to work out how he shot her on his stumps, and not on is prosthesis..

the measurement, his height was 84 centimetes.. without . 65 centimetes..

at the shoulder he is.. 123 without prosthesis..

elbow level. he taps his own elbow. is 96 without prosthesis..

66 centimeters at the hip measurement..

this needs to be read in transcript , I know Imissed some measurement.s

court adjourned.. resumes tomorrow..

he was a riveting witness.

  • #316
Stumps.

He needed measurements from OP.

Height of OP 184cm with legs
155cm without
shoulder level with 156cm
without 123cm

elbow level 96cm without legs
66cm shoulder to fingertip length as if he is holding a firearm

Nel wants an adjournment. Granted.

Morning 9.30.

ETA I missed one. Just before the length of arm measurement. What was that?

I had no idea Reeva had been shot in the chest.

Van Staden had also talked about a hole in the vest and in her chest.

That's what I heard also, but it did not penetrate. I queried it yesterday regarding casings also. For the autopsy we only heard about a red mark on her nipple.

Sorry...misread post. Will try to find it via tweets though.

So if OP was standing 220cm away from the door with outstretched arms holding gun of 66cm, that means he was 220 minus 66cm away, whatever the answer to that sum is.....

Good job, Trooper!

The bolded part: the right-hand side was the entrance wound, the left-hand side was the exit wound (in the head).
