Im willing to take pieter baba's word for it that there was a panic button.
Even although Baba's never been inside his house.
I'll continue to take Oscar's word for most things.

I'd like to go over his actions in more detail after he shot her.
He turned down help from security system.
Was told to bring her in himself by ambulance service.
Called the friends over? When did that happen?
http://sports.nationalpost.com/2014/04/11/oscar-pistorius-reeva-steenkamp-trial-crying/Mr. Carr said watching Mr. Pistorius’s histrionics reminded him of the veteran U.S. actor George Burns.
“George Burns said the secret to acting was sincerity. If you can fake that you’ve got it made.”
actually. he doesn't immediately call for help.. he sits on the bed, puts his prosthetics on,. goes back into the bathroom and he says, 'aims a kick at the door'... then he runs back to the bedroom, to the balcony, tripping over the fans, the duvet, and calls helphelphelp...
Though Dr Stipp stated both sets were gunshots, to him, didn't he.
First thing I'd do in an emergency situation like this would be to quickly shout for help, next priority get that door open by any means to see what condition my partner is in, next priority see if I can stem bleeding, whilst I'm stemming the blood my hands wouldn't be free to do anything else. As soon as I can do nothing more I would phone for help.
I don't know the situation with the panic buttons, but at this stage you're fully aware that you're not dealing with an intruder, you're dealing with a casualty. At that moment, shouting for a neighbour would probably be far quicker and more productive than anything security could do.
Not everyone's heart stops beating the moment they receive a gunshot to the head. That's an undisputed fact. Plenty of people survive a gunshot to the head.
If you think Kennedy's heart was beating after that head wound, I have a bridge to sell you.
The Pathologist says Reeva died instantly and the lack of blood at the scene confirms that.
So questions remain:
Time of death would be time of the shots fired. What time were the shots fired? Is this in dispute?
Did Oscar really think Reeva was still alive when doc shows up? Or is he faking it?
Did Oscar realize immediately that she was dead when he opened the door? If so, how does this explain his subsequent actions?
I disagree - calling security and ambulance is indefinitely quicker and more productive than shouting outside your balcony in the middle of the night.
If it is more quicker and more productive, no need to have an emergency number for police and ambulance and they don't need do drills anymore as your friendly neighbor is even more effective.

That's correct. I've no doubt that the first set of noises he heard was gunshots. His wife also testified that these first noises were gunshots.
If we are to believe they are correct, and the first noises were gunshots, then we know for a fact (and I've not used that word often) that all the screaming they heard was OP.

how much time do you reckon, molly?? = what does ' a while ' consist of in your book??
If anything like that had happened, I feel sure that the prosecution would have called the Netcare operator as a witness. I sure would love to know the content of that call.
But they didn't know about that cell phone in time to get recordings, right?
Does that include the magic gun going off without his finger on the trigger? His 'word' has been proven to be lies for 'most' things so far - and Nel hasn't even got started. I'm glad he is fighting for Reeva. After all, it was her life that ended in a toilet after being shot by someone we now know was thoroughly unpleasant, highly volatile, a liar, immoral, thought nothing of shooting a dog in the back of the head (without saying a word to the owner), accuses his DT for his inaccurate affidavit, his friends of lying, the police for not showing him 'courtesy' when dealing with his firearm in the car, the list is too long to complete. But one thing I know, is he's a nasty piece of work, and if it was anyone other than him, no one would give him the time of day. Famous people are just people with more money than the rest of us. They're not saints. And plenty of them have murdered.Even although Baba's never been inside his house.

20 to 30 minutes in my book.
She was dead in the closet.
That means first set of shots [at 3am] were gunshots [IMO].
I think 3am is when she died.
You don't have to believe me but I'll say it anyway. He was DOA. They made sure of that. His head exploded on camera.BBM:
Molly333: No need for that please. Thank you.
As for the actual facts. Prsident Kennedy was shot in the head at 12:30 PM. Here is video of Assistant White House Press Secretary Malcom Kilduff telling all the reporters in Parkland Hospital at circa 1:30 PM, that President Kennedy died at 1:00 PM.
In other words, despite massive brain tauma and frankly massive loss of brain, his heart beat for another half hour.
I would also beseech all you sleuthers to watch the short video to its very end where he shows where the fatal head shot actually entered the Presidents head
Lol, yeah maybe your right, who could question oscars integrity?.
