WHAT is happening?

It's abut the Ratliff filing - the guy who tried to delay the trial at the last minute.

Boyce: "I was angry then and I'm angrier now."
Phew! Is he cross or is he cross?

WHAT is happening?
So, judge is demanding that Ratclif argues his case and not the attorney he’s bought along. They are now conferring.

He also mistakenly signed as "attorney for the defendant" and got the case number wrong. This is an obvious joke. Someone is messing with the judge.

What would the benefit of this filing be?

Judge Boyce is NOT happy with Ratliff for his last minute attempted interjection into this case, which interrupted his staff, the court's, and all participants Easter weekend. Plus everything surrounding the motion, poor spelling, poor professionalism, claiming to be the Defense' attorney, etc. Plus he has the audacity to hire an attorney to represent him instead of answering to the judge directly.

The Judge is demanding to have the attorney answer to him directly. Judge Boyce is tearing him up!

This guy makes Mark Means look like Thurgood Marshall.

I would think that alone could get him in BIG trouble!
It was an honest mistake. He only did it three times. And the typos were due to his nervousness.

ETA: Great! Send him the bill. I can't believe Boyce is dealing with adult professionals who act like children.

Judge calls his actions frivolous and sanctions him. Ratliff's attorney, Bartlett, digging the hole deeper. Wow! Boyce has had enough and ends it!

I think it’s more a case of drunk filing and I think the judge thinks that too. He’s steaming mad! Anyway, done and dusted and he’s been sanctioned. I cannot believe how an attorney dares to argue with a judge. So disrespectful.

When they make the movie, Boyce will have a gavel, just for that 'I'm done" moment.

Just remembered but Ratcliff said that Prior had contacted him.

If it was a drunk filing, can't they withdraw it later?

Have not heard that pickup line but I have heard "I think we met in the pre-existence."
I’ve heard “Have we met before?”.

Now you young ones can say, “Why yes we have. We were married in a previous life.”

And boy does he sound it! Very controlled anger mind you, but yeah, he doesn't sound happy.
I’m not watching. Is he angry because Prior had called him?

I was going for a screenshot of Boyce's "WE'RE DONE" and happened to catch CD looking a little nervous at the judge's forcefulness...
