I don't recall the descriptions of the bodies being as graphic and detailed in Lori's trial. Maybe I'm misremembering?

They seem pretty similar to what I recall, just based on the tweets.

The prior trial, only those there heard the whole spiel. We had to rely on twitter, with the full content necessarily abbreviated. Here, with the feed, every word is getting broadcast. It's possible, if you're listening along, that it seems more brutal. I'm not listening, I'm just following the thread.

Agreed. I did a double take and had to relisten to what detective Hermosillo said when he talked about turning the body of JJ over to the coroner, because what I heard was that he turned the body of JJ over to the "home owner!"

I seriously think Chad's pulled the wool over his kids' eyes and they think he really is innocent. I don't think they would testify in his defense if they didn't believe that.

That makes me sorry for them, and it makes them very unpopular, but if they truly believe it, you can't blame them.

I think that's what years of cult inundation can do. But, a person can only believe what they believe. I'm so sorry for his kids. I'm so sorry for everyone that evil ugly slug has damaged.

Yeah I have to agree with you. I guess what I didn’t make clear is that if he pulled one son into it more, I feel so sorry for his son. Either way, all five kids have to live with this and Lori’s kids are dead because of Chads beliefs. Putting Lori away, doesn’t make up for what Chad did.

I daren't imagine Tylee"s end...
How the jurors will be able to blank out these images, I don"t think it's possible.
This must be the saddest and most cruelest case I have followed.

I had blocked out some of the details...I'm so glad Kay stayed away today. I am horrified all over again. I feel terrible for the jurors.

@Onsdag is right, CD won't take the stand, he will have his kids do it. That angers me, as a mother. Tammy Daybell spent her life with CD, supporting his craziness. I think CD wanted to move to Idaho, to control Tammy, and get her away from her family.

Does anyone remember the alibi statement LVD’s defense issued a few months before the trial began? It stated that she was in her apartment when JJ & Tylee were killed in AC’s apartment and that she was with MG & DW and/or CD.

I am still not convinced that either JJ or Tylee died in AC’s apartment and not in LVD’s or that AC killed them both and not LVD. But putting that aside for the moment and getting back to the alibi statement..

We know that neither MG nor DW were at LVD’s on the night of Sept 8th & morning of Sept 9th. So it seems LVD is putting CD in her apartment during the time Tylee was murdered.

Is there any cell phone pinging or GPS data that LE has to support CD being at the apartment complex that night?

No, any apparent shock or reaction to the materials presented is feigned and staged in order to present the observer with an appearance of innocence and/or ignorance. Much like when he was first arrested and sitting in the police car Emma approached him and he asked her what was going on and if she knew why he was being arrested. To which, according to her testimony, she thought to herself "how do you not know?" She then told her dad "they found human remains," whereupon "his face went white and his eyes went wide." There is no way he didn't already know what happened to those precious children. He was/is simply putting on a show of feigned ignorance to his audience.

IIRC, we have not heard of any Chad's cell phone pings. Lori's defense combined both children's deaths and provided one alibi, regardless of the fact that the children were killed two weeks apart. Alex's phone was in Lori's apt for an entire hour in the middle of the night on September 9, which (IMO) had something to do with Tylee's death.

I am sure that this will be admitted soon. CD knew exactly what was going to be found on the property. So did LVD.

Chad was continuously looking over his shoulder while sitting in his car in Emma's driveway to see the progress of the excavation in his backyard. If he had no knowledge of the bodies, he would not be worried.

Nope, nobody mentioned anything about it, as if it was never made. Perhaps someone pulled the plug on it. By that time podcasts became more scarce. The next one was a three-part series with MG interviewing DW that aired in early December (before the case broke). No idea when it was recorded.

I do not believe Chad was part of that podcast. As I recall, it was Lori, MG and her boyfriend, DW, only. That was the evening Alex appeared with sleeping JJ in his arms.
