Well Cooper was accidental. Prostitutes and cheating were deliberate.

Plus, I could see being unable to stay married to the man who accidentally killed their child.

To me it would be logical that the mother would connect her husband's obsessive cheating and sexting with what happened to Cooper. So even if she believes it was an accident, I believe most women who would be upset enough by cheating to file for divorce would automatically blame the husband who was actively engaged in such behavior when their son died, for that death.

I reallt believe that a lot of the strange things and behaviors we've seen in this case can be explained by one thing- Cooper was not the main focus in that family. For Ross, his needs and desires were. For the mother, I believe she had raging insecurities and feelings of worthlessness and a panic about keeping her man. I think that was her focus. Cooper was just not first in their lives, IMO.

Otherwise, it is extremely natural for spouses to blame each other for a child's death, even when it is an accident or even illness beyond their control. So if there is a hint of actual culpability or negligence, that's even more so. IMO each parent had an obsessive focus that caused Cooper to be less important.

Boring: hint. Your smiling at Leanna couldn't possibly look more insincere.

Leanna has been following the trial at home

HA two years ago she said they (Ross and cooper)went every two weeks to chick Fil a. And now it's just a guess. She comes off as a liar.

She seems very insincere IMO

LT's parsing words and not answering what's being asked.

I agree.

However, I don't think anything from today points to intentional murder. I do think the jury is going to pass on that particular charge.

jmopinion

Since she had been married to Ross for many many many years/prior to Cooper's birth and never realized the depth of his dark side..How the heck could she NOW proclaim that Ross absolutely wouldn't do what he did to Cooper??? It's going to come down the the jury to decide just how to take in all the testimony.

I did read that apparently there are 3 nurses and 2 who are related to LEO. Just maybe they do understand some of the things being testified to beyond laypersons understanding and able during deliberation explain all the innuendo's by both sides! Time will only tell. But I really don't think that LeANNE has helped her conflicted x-husband..in fact she has clarified how well Ross HID his alternate lifestyle!! JMO of course~~

Actually, in every account I've been reading about of a parent being responsible for their child's hot car death, the other spouse, if believing it an accident, not only forgave their spouse, but defended them.

And, I'm seeing Leanna as a completely normal wife and mother. Where are you getting the idea that Cooper wasn't central to her life? Everything she has testified to says pretty much the opposite of that view. Is that your opinion, independent of her testimony?

I'm glad I'm not taking a drink every time she says "I don't remember."

Leanna is a formidable woman. Boring is getting nowhere with her, imo.

Was she not supposed to be watching?

It's my understanding that prospective witnesses are expected to refrain from reading, listening, watching, etc. testimony prior to their own appearance in court. I don't know if it's inherently wrong or not for them to do so.

I think boring is showing that she only remembers stuff for the defense. I think she is hurting the defense big time right now.

If I'm a juror I would like her to just answer the question. And I would think she is purposely not to paint him and their life in a better light than it actually was.

Stoddard was allowed to actually sit on the court room before he testified. And afterwards too.

I was imagining JRH making fast food! I should have known it wouldn't be that job!

LOL... If for no other reason than he would have a definite start time for work and would be expected to actually do some work while on the clock.

I suspect that courts/judges have their own rules about this.

I hope the jury is wondering what, exactly, made Stoddard so suspicious about Leanna that he still can't let go of it?
