His efforts on the job that day are quite damning, I have to admit.

He "checked out" from that job, imo. I can't quite make the leap that his "checking out" of the job means he left Cooper to die on purpose, but it's really damaging information, imo.

The decision to go to the movies that afternoon is hard to understand.

Has no one here ever been passed over for a promotion they thought they deserved, in a professional position, that is?

In the professional world being passed over for a promotion is being told you have no future in that place of employment. It really doesn't seem a terribly difficult stretch of the imagination to understand that might be demoralizing, that it doesn't inspire one to work harder, necessarily.

And fwiw, i haven't heard any evidence about why Ross didn't get that promotion. He worked flexible hours . It's standard in IT. And?

Because he wanted to go to a movie?

Given that LT was "always" concerned by finances (per her testimony) then yes, it is completely and utterly irresponsible to saunter into work late, take a full lunch and leave early jeopardizing what you already sense is a job in jeopardy when your wife doesn't work full time.

Plenty of people get passed over the first time, and work harder and are promoted at the next opportunity.

And 'flexible' hours don't mean you can come in late, leave early, duck progress calls, and not even turn in your work product .

My husband has a salary position and has 'flexible hours.' He also works on team projects, much like Ross did. But it does not mean he can go in late every day and leave early when he feels like it. Especially not if he was being the weakest link in a group project. EVERYONE else suffers if you do not complete your portion of the work.

Sounds like a self fulfilling prophecy imo

From Brown's testimony, I can see why he was passed over for a promotion and I'm sure CFA is thrilled that they didn't hire him.

You would think that if you got passed over by a promotion and didn't get the job at CFA that maybe you need to put in a day's work, respond to your boss, and make deadlines.

Nope, he continued to sext and message with friends/underaged girls/prostitutes all day, every day.

I think you totally rock and I agree with 99.99 percent of your posts.

I mainly lurk but I had come out of lurk mode for a moment and then I will crawl back under my rock.

At first I thought Ross was guilty of murder but now I think extreme negligence,

I came out of lurk mode to talk about Leanna. What difference does it make when she filed from divorce? She has had to rebuild her life, move, get a new job all while trying to come to her terms with her baby's death and realizing that her husband was a true 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 and possibly a murderer. I say give her a break. If you have not dealt with a cheating spouse, it takes a big plug out of you and her baby is dead.

I may be totally wrong and if I am, please do not throw rocks at me.

back to lurk mode.

AND all while the most intimate details of her life are being broadcast and talked about by the rest of the world! It's a wonder to me she isn't curled up in a fetal position in a corner quietly whimpering.

The defense called its next witness, Jelani Etienne, who worked with Harris at Home Depot. They were part of the same web development project team.

Etienne said he sat right behind Harris and got to know him pretty well. “We’d talk about … sports, just any coworker-type topics,” he said.

Etienne said he remembered the day Harris learned his wife was pregnant.

“He was happy like sitting on Cloud 9, saying he was going to be a dad,” Etienne said. “When Cooper was born that was all he talked about.”

Sounds like a self fulfilling prophecy imo

Do you have a timeline you can share that indicates RH was having difficulty at work BEFORE he was passed over for promotion?

I'm especially interested because I believe the State is advancing a different timeline . TIA

Ross looks alert after lunch, guess he doesn't fall asleep with a full belly.

Wait jelani just said he came in at the same time he always did....so he was always that late...nice work ethic

Is that a reference to baby Cooper, who may have died because he fell asleep with a full belly?

Cooper did not die because he fell asleep with a full belly. He died because his negligent, irresponsible father left him in a hot car all day.

The Home Depot coworkers would talk about sports, stuff that came up in the news and other random topics, Etienne said. Harris would sometimes share interesting things he found on Reddit, Etienne testified.

Etienne said he’d joke with Harris in the mornings about why he didn’t share his tater tots from Chick-fil-A.

Harris used a lot of police jargon sometimes, Etienne said.

The prosecution is now cross-examining Etienne.

Harris seemed normal the day of Cooper’s death, not stressed, Etienne testified.

They joked about Harris getting in a bit late to work.

Jelani Etienne steps down.

Good point. I remember earlier testimony where JRH was upset that Chik-Fil-A hadn't called him after he put in his application. I thought that was weird since I've always thought it was required to call employers so they know you are truly interested in the job.

I still don't understand why he dropped off those light bulbs during lunch if it wasn't to check on Cooper being dead, at that point on opening the door he would have smelled, heard something.....He knew then that Cooper was alive, his initial plan was to freak out at lunch "Oh no, I left him in the car!!!!!" But Cooper was still cooking, so he had to go back to work and wait it out.......

Keep in mind a Grand Jury after hearing the evidence returned an indictment with 8 charges. E I G H T

The Grand Jury indicted Harris on the following charges:

Malice Murder
Felony Murder
Felony Murder
Cruelty to Children in the First Degree
Cruelty to Children in the Second Degree
Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony, to wit: Sexual Exploitation of Children
Dissemination of harmful Material to Minors
Dissemination of Harmful material to Minors

This is a very bad man.

But the defense doesn't present at the Grand Jury does it? They only saw what Stoddard claimed correct? And so much of that has been debunked.

No, cooper didn't have a full belly according to the ME. All that was In his digestive track was a bit of potatoe and some orange juice.
I firmly doubt cooper fell asleep anyhow imo

Yes, that one was here in my state. Hot Springs Ar. He was acquitted in Aug 2016, happened in 2015. Dr Diamond also testified in his case. I didn't follow that one real close becaue there was a lot of politics going on there. Allegations that he wasn't charged as fast as someone else would have been. THEN LEO lost evidence in the case. And since he was acquitted, he didn't have to step down from the bench. (And it was kinda crazy similar as the RH case yet RH was 2014. **and the part you quoted, THAT was the baby that passed away's Pediatrician saying that quote happen to the DR.

Heres more with the Judge:

According to Tweets from Drew Petrimoulx of our news partner KARK, the scientist is talking about how small acts can "restart habit functions. In this case, Narmaore normally took his son to daycare before going to work. But he stopped for a McDonald's breakfast. The suggestion is that this caused a restart of a habit to drive to work. The expert also spoke of the familiar happenstance of drivers who place a cup of coffee or some other object atop a car before getting in, then forgetting it when driving off.

Dr. David Diamond, a Florida academic, said he was being paid $10,000 by the defense to testify about his study of "forgotten baby syndrome." The bottom line: It can happen to anyone. http://www.arktimes.com/ArkansasBlo...neuroscientist-in-naramore-hot-car-death-case

To equate a baby with a cup of coffee... It shows how badly some of our priorities have shifted.

Because he wanted to go to a movie?

When he's behind work and being reminded by his boss that he is behind work and missing deadlines?

It's just hard to understand that decision.
