RH is a grown a$$ man.
When you stay up half the night, night after night, knowing you have to go to work, you just made a dumb a$$ decision. And you don't get an automatic exemption from everything you did wrong because of it.

Amen amen amen. It's beyond frustrating when people are treating JRH like he is a child that is incapable of taking care of his son. That contradicts what the defense showed us when they put numerous people on the stand that kept saying JRH was involved in Cooper's life and equally shared responsibility for his son. Obviously he is not a dingbat, nor he is too sleepy, too horny, too stupid, or too forgetful to remember his son. If JRH can remember how to speak Spanish by simply walking into a restaurant, he can darn sure remember his own child while texting about escaping his family responsibilities.

I had to leave at 11. What's your overall take on how well this witness did? He was barely rating a "meh" when I left. Did Boring draw blood?

IMO (and I know you didn't ask me, lol) he didn't help either side. I don't think his testimony ended up mattering, at all.

Scheduling: Court in session half-day Tuesday - Election Day. No court next Friday, the 11th - Veteran's Day.

Agree. He didn't even rush to work after he knew he was running late once again.

He really seemed like he was giving up on his job.

So why didn't he drop Cooper off since his job responsibilities wasn't on his mind as of late?

I tell you, I admire anyone who studies psychology. It's so much in the abstract. I would find that incredibly frustrating, but I'm thankful for people in that field.

I liked it but my degree is in science. I enjoyed learning about animal behaviour and aggression theory which actually shows experiments that can be repeatable and valid. Psych has a real hard time with that but that is JMOO.

Was 🤬🤬🤬🤬 found on RH phone, computer?

I have wondered that too. Only thing I know of was the photos of his genitals. (and the photos rec'd from the female witnesses that their parts are also part of evidence now).

I believe there was testimony that it was NOT illegal then but is now, it was when they were showing Stoddard driving the route.

Maybe I am mistaken.

Legal or illegal, why make the Uturn? How much time would it have saved, just out of curiosity? From LE's video, it looks like making it or not would be a decision based on traffic flow? And moments in which , having to wait and anticipate traffic, one could have one's brain scrambled?

Not much time at all... 15 seconds. The reason that people make the U-turn is to avoid a driveway that runs behind/next to CFA. Without traffic, the driveway is definitely longer, even if only by a small margin (15ish seconds).

Anyone else find it kinda odd that all the sudden Boring is talking about RH sexting men? He made that comment a few times with this witness. Only thing we have heard prior is the one witness who said he told her about meeting up with a male on vacation (iirc)

JMHO if that is the case, looks like to me he would have thrown that at Leanna when she on the stand.

Meh.

Boring didn't draw blood - it was a decent cross-exam but some of it backfired.

I think Boring is helping the defense by pointing out his lack of sleep in the days leading up to the 18th

Lack of sleep for that many nights plus obsessive texting plus inability to focus ....sounds like he was having a manic episode. Obviously doesn't mean he was, but....

Hey I just forgot what I went to the fridge for but didn't forget to check this thread! :p

I noticed he was slipping that in there too. Wondered where that was coming from.

disclaimer: I've forgotten a lot of the testimony that happened in the beginning. With that said, I don't remember previous mention of Ross texting men at night. I think the first I've heard of that is today. No idea why that would be randomly brought up now. Seems a little arbitrary.

I assume the defense knows about it, if they aren't objecting??

Thanks. A draw, then? Jurors leaning towards malice and those not so much could both take away something to support their positions?

The woman said Harris told her he met a random guy on the app, Whisper, while on vacation and had relations with him.

Somehow I imagine the State would have spent any amount of time and money necessary to track down a male sexting partner of RH, and to haul him into court.

Probably a draw.

I thought that there were several things this witness said that pointed to negligence on Ross's part. The exchange at the end where the witness fiercely denied that any of Ross's actions could contribute to his fatigue revealed his clear bias for the DT.

There were seversl things that this witness said that pointed to this not being a memory failure.

I didn't see anything that helped Ross.

The male hook up was apparently from a vacation so possibly not from the US?

Yes! His job was the one thing that might have given JRH some credibility that he was running late for work and forgot his son, but he blew that too.

LOL I just know I haven't written anything down about "men" except that time the witness said that. I gonna assume that there is much we don't know but this just struck me as something that they would have been throwing out all along, especially since the State new words "dark side".
