Maybe I'm just experiencing no-Diamond letdown, but this in the weeds about specific searches seems like trivial quibbling at the edges.

Could RH have forgotten Cooper or not? iMO Brewer did a fine enough job yesterday, but not as the sole witness to testify about the central question of the trial.

I'm sure Kilgore's closing will rock, but still.........

yes this is more "weeds" and frankly at this point I think the jury is more interested in what RH did than did not do and all these random searches etc. are just boring them. They are now ready to get the case but probably wondering where some real concrete memory information is relevant to exactly what happened to Cooper. Very weak defense. I seem to feel Kilgore is tired and I think he knows his client is going away for quite some time.

Although the reported searches is what led me to believe that JRH was guilty, I left them behind a LONG time ago when I found out that there was much stronger evidence against him like the Whisper conversation, how small the car was, the car seat positioned between the two front seats, the Chik-Fil-A video showing Cooper bright eyed and bushy tailed, text messages to prospective sexual encounters telling them not to have kids, how he would leave his wife if not for Cooper, how Cooper was draining his bank account, ect ect ect.

Moulton's testimony is going over evidence I lost focus on a long time ago. I'm not sure what defense council is doing except maybe put the jury to sleep.

Minor....maybe what you sensed was off about Kilgore yesterday was that he had prepped with Diamond and Brewer was a last minute replacement?

No Dr. D, no Dr. A, just more computer blah blah. No wonder Maddox looked tired yesterday.

Ross did not search for divorce lawyers, alimony, or criminal defense lawyers

I feel bad for the Jury, I think they already heard about the memes. I keep rubbing my face, and moving around. I need more coffee.

He is getting in that the SW facts were wrong. Listen to what he is asking... AND that he got this info soon. He found within couple weeks that RH did not do the Red Image ... getting at the CCPD thought he did it and they should have been able to have know just as he did. Not a year later.

So, now I'm wondering if they will put Ross on stand. I just can't believe this guy would really be the end of their testimony. I've said until this point there is no was the defense would, but now I wonder...

Rodriguez turns to the time when Harris accessed a video by a veterinarian on how hot a car gets for an animal left inside it on a hot day.

The prosecution had established earlier that Harris had watched the video twice. Moulton says Harris did click on the video twice, but the clicks were within one second of each other. He says the 2012 video has been viewed more than 2 million times now. Harris accessed the video on June 13, 2014, but Moulton says he could not find any instances of Harris accessing it before that time or after. (Cooper died on June 18, 2014.)

Kind of feel bad for them. It must feel awful to know you can put on a good defense, but can't find anyone to work with you.

Kind of off topic - I really like this witness' suit and tie. It's probably one of the best outfits I've seen in court to date.

Moulton said Harris frequently did searches on football and also on "praise" or religious music. (He was a guitarist at his church.)

Rodriguez asks whether Harris searched for information on the law. Moulton says yes, but says Harris may have been searching for legal information on how to set up a business. The prosecution objects, saying the witness is speculating. The judge sustains.

Moulton says he also has worked on divorce cases. In Harris' case, he did not find any searches for divorce lawyers, for information on alimony or for criminal defense attorneys.

Ross viewed the vet hot car video once not twice....Breaking News

State called someone back down yesterday.

I'm pretty sure it will be Jim Persinger. He was an excellent witness. Very detailed and so good at explaining in layman's terms.

I don't think this is the wisest move by the DT.

Highly probable.

I think that Dr. Brewer was terrible for the DT. My main issue is that the likelihood of "memory failure" increases when the a person is stressed and fatigued, and aside from ONE email, there is no evidence that Ross was either of these things. In fact, all of witnesses stated that Ross was completely "normal" in the days leading up to Cooper's death. On the day of his death Ross was nothing out of the ordinary.

I am not buying that Ross forgot. If the facts of this case supported that theory, the DT would have been able to clearly articulate how it could have happened. They did not.

He found some of the deleted cache that CCPD folks couldn't find.
RH got that comp on March 24, 2014. He only had 3 or 4 months..... The State witnesses said he deleted stuff.. it didn't happen. Evid of Chrome and web history, found by this witness. Report had page file... He just busted out the State Witnesses on the computer stuff!!

Ex wife best witness for defense so far. And she admitted she had no clue about many aspects of Ross at the time of Coopers death

That may be. Kilgore seemed exhausted to me yesterday.

This witness has such a haughty tone, it drives me nuts!!

*ho-hum*

is the defense purposely dragging this out? I'm bailing on the live stream, I'll follow tweets as they come in.
