Rodriguez turns to Harris' extensive use of anonymous messaging services, such as Whisper and Kik.

Moulton says they were not hard to find on Harris's iPhone, although they were stored in folders within subfolders.

Neither Kik nor Whisper had been deleted, he says. Moulton says nothing was deleted from Harris's phone on June 18, the day Cooper died.

Whoa, his total compensation for this is approx $40,000.

(I don't care if he's paid, he should be. I'm just realizing I chose the wrong line of work. lol)

What is the other male prosecutor's name for the state? He seems really nice and has a more pleasant demeanor than Boring.

Not sure if anyone answered this already. His name is Brian (?) Lumpkin.

I like him too. He seems like a real southern gentleman.

On another issue that arose in the prosecution case, Rodriguez asks whether there was anything unusual about a web developer "clearing his cache" on his web browser.

Moulton says he, like Harris, is a web developer and it's common for developers to clear cache. But he also points out that clearing cache (or the history of web searches during a period of time) does not actually delete the history itself.

His bill for work on case will total $50-60,000

Wow! He's going to make $40,000 just on this case!?

this witness is offering nothing of interest to the jury at this point...if he is the last what a weak way to end. And Boring or DA will finish this guy off. Very disappointing defense for what I think is indefensible...however Kilgore seemed to be king of the smoke and mirrors a/k/a 'reasonable doubt" and I thought he was weak on that too...probably enough to not get counts 1 and 2 but 3 will be just fine.

Moulton says that a Lenovo PC was Harris's work computer at Home Depot, and a MacBook was his personal computer.

Rodriguez says there was earlier testimony that data had been deleted from Harris's computers prior to his arrest. Moulton says there was ample data on both computers.

Although the reported searches is what led me to believe that JRH was guilty, I left them behind a LONG time ago when I found out that there was much stronger evidence against him like the Whisper conversation, how small the car was, the car seat positioned between the two front seats, the Chik-Fil-A video showing Cooper bright eyed and bushy tailed, text messages to prospective sexual encounters telling them not to have kids, how he would leave his wife if not for Cooper, how Cooper was draining his bank account, ect ect ect.

Moulton's testimony is going over evidence I lost focus on a long time ago. I'm not sure what defense council is doing except maybe put the jury to sleep.

Searches that did not happen

The defense have nice, quiet, sweet voices. Probably helps when they tell their clients that it doesn't look good.

$40K! went deeper than the CCPD, looked at more than the reports.

Well in this witness, they are telling the jury that the CCPD didn't do their job

Yes, it's evidence that we may have lost interest in a while back - but remember the jury will take back with it all of the documentary evidence and their notes. They will review everything from the beginning. It is important for the defense to have evidence addressing what the state has presented and the inferences they want to jury to draw.

Personally I am glad the defense is doing this because it was an area where the state was really weak. So many innuendos about what might have been searched and deleted and a bunch of nonsense from the computer experts about not knowing what the investigators were interested in and claiming to be the wrong witnesses to ask about specific info on the computers.

This witness has such a haughty tone, it drives me nuts!!

That is so funny because I don't get that vibe from him at all lol

He is the anti-Persinger :D

40k+ is a lot to spend on a witness that's going to rehash the same stuff the prosecution already went over days and days ago.
