What is her criminal background? I thought (don't know why though) Hanna was adopted legally thru an agency? This lady is a piece of work!

See thread here [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108730"]Tammi Peters Smith - Criminal history, records, etc - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community[/ame]

Please say you lie.... why would she? She will bury her hoochie self even more :jail:

Anywhooooo... I have massage therapy (you can totally hate me, it's cool) so I will take off now. Do we know if the video is being archived anywhere for watching later?

Unless I heard wrong, he was listing witnesses for the defense and said Ms. Smith (I'm assuming that is TS).

And we all know how much TS likes to hear her own voice. I bet she thinks she can charm the pants off the jury!

MOO

I hadn't followed this case too closely until the trial started for Tammi Smith.

Today was an eye opener for me.

So disturbing to hear from the young woman Tammi met up with at Jack in the Box. She came across honest & believable. Seems like her "hinky meter" set off in time.

It absolutely FLOORS me that Tammi could approach these young women, who were virtual strangers to her, and initiate an adoption discussion. Who does that?

Tammi and her eye rolling, shaking her head and lips moving while testimony going on is annoying as hell to me. Has her husband been in the courtroom?

Thank you for posting the thread. Where the heck are all the people who were so passionate about finding Gabe? There is just a handful of us watching this trial. TS. Hindered the ability to find him Gabe deserves better than just a few people. :(

I'm following the trial via twitter. LOL Don't have to be so politically correct with comments there. KWIM?

So I just started reading the crime link (thank you very much). Didn't realize I would need so much time, so will need to go back to it.

WTH. She ALREADY has her own children???? She gave them up? This gets crazier by the minute.

Yes indeed, where the heck are all the people who were so passionate about finding Gabriel? Actually I think the Casey Anthony trial did them in and quite honestly, if Tammi isn't convicted of these crimes I'm pretty sure this will be the last case I'll follow as well. But I will never stop looking for Gabriel, he's out there somewhere, robbed of his true identity, and sooner or later someone will slip up...God isn't just overlooking this. Nope, one day Gabriel Johnson will be found, I believe that with all my heart.

On another note, I'm really happy to see peeps here who aren't very familiar with the case. It's encouraging to know that you are seeing the truth in this trial, it is through you that we are able to have an idea of how the jury might be seeing the evidence presented to them. Thank you all for being here and sharing your thoughts.

You're right..that trial did me in and I have a hard time following missing child cases once they go cold now...too many never found. I just found out on Tulessa's thread that one of the posters is actually married to the guy from the ME's office who actually removed Caylee's remains. I am glad to be here for Gabriel...and for his dad.

I am so disappointed that there is little interest in this trial. Also, that they didn't show testimony of Rachel that happened after In Session finished yesterday. Instead they let Beth Caras "recap" for us, and I think she has been biased toward Tammi Smith. Not happy about it.

I have been going back and researching articles and stuff all morning. I just found the article where janet (isn't that TS's sister who lives in TN?) works for attorneys who do adoption and custody cases, probably nothing...but I thought it was very interesting.

I've been watching the next day trial recaps on IS but haven't been posting(staining cabinets and I hate it lol)

Anyway, I just can't get over how smug and entitled TS looks. Actually I'm a little surprised the Judge allows her facial attitude.

WOW TS suggested to Hoover that she drop off her baby at a hospital and then she could adopt it...omg

Then suggested Hoover put JS on the birth certificate as the dad?

Damming!

TS comes across as an obsessive compulsive individual. Put her own husband on the Hoover baby birth certificate?! That is absurd. Would love to know what the agency told Ms. Hoover about TS that caused her to stop talking to her!

I too hadn't paid too much attention to this case-only because of the 'other one'. I tuned into HLN today and had to do a quick catch up in here-I honestly thought this had something to do with another small boy who was eventually found unfortunatley deceased at some campground-sorry, the FCA case overtook all other as important missing child cases. What I saw of this TS, Well, she gives off the impression that she thinks she is better than anybody else in that courtroom-jmo. The way she dressed and coiffed, gave the impression of somebody trying to pass themselves off as very well to do and it being beneath her to even be there-that was until the eye rolling and the chatter and the way she looked towards the jury showed very transparently what she was doing. Although I know so little about this case, to me, TS gave me the distinct impression of somebody who was dealing in underhanded adoptions and didn't get very far-Brings to mind Georgia Tan-Remember her?

I'm here! I'm one who has followed the case from the beginning. But, I was working during most of the days of trial at first and could not watch. Then, I got wrapped up in Isabel Celis' case and Tulessa's brother's case and it seems hard to come in mid-way and try to find the trial on-line and being watching after it already began for the day.

What would be very, very helpful for some of us would be if it was taped and we could watch videos later in the day. I have looked but have not been able to find any. I really want to see this woman acting up at the defense table. I have disliked her intensely from day one.

Another issues is, many people are likely unaware that this trial is occurring at all. I did not know at first. Is it publicized on the first page of the forums? Maybe everyone could tell a websleuth friend. You'd likely see a heck of a lot more people on here.

But if anyone could tell me where I could see video of the trial, that would be fantastic!!!

So far, I have heard from two talking heads that the crime they are trying to prove will be very difficult to prove. I hope that is not true.

Janet isn't TPS's sister. One of TS's sisters was in the courtroom on Thursday afternoon with her husband (not Jack - the sister's husband, wearing a white shirt), sitting 2 rows behind TPS

I finally saw the testimony of Rachel Hoover. She seems very sincere, and a very good witness. Like others I don't have much faith in Florida juries. To me it is obvious, from the testimony already presented that she did, indeed, interfere with Logan's custodial rights. So since she did, they should find her guilty of that charge.

Hopefully AZ juries are smarter than FL.
