I try hard to separate my emotions from cases. I started really thinking about that morning JH and Cooper went to breakfast. Really hard to think about Cooper after JH closed his door. No child should ever have to suffer. I hope they have witnesses on the stand that will talk about how chatty Cooper was. I haven't had a toddler in years, but I remember they are super nosy and always asking why, and what.

I know. Especially after eating - they get a boost of energy!

I have to turn off emotions too. Most of the time I can do it, but sometimes a little detail will crack my stoicism....like when his mom described Cooper as saying hello to the cars and trucks on the road. What a cutie.

But, I put back on a tough cloak because I want to stand by Cooper in this case.

I used the word interference, but I wasn't using it in a legal term but in a logistical way. LE are the authorities in a crime scene. If you don't follow orders and then say "F.U." to an officer, you are defying their authority. I don't think LE should respond by swearing in return, but I have no problem with LE asserting their authority when responding to the death of a child and the adult in charge of caring for that child is defiant to LE orders to get off the phone.

Whew. Think I'm done with this topic for awhile.

Remember he worked for the police department in Alabama and was let go during his 90 day probation period. IIRC, and his brother is LE.
He had a sense of entitlement... There was more going on there that meets the eye.

Okay, we're back in the courtroom. Thank you.

Hang on folks, we're here for Cooper.

I do think Ross loved Cooper. I also think he wasn't up to the task of caring for him day-in and day-out, and I think his wife had an idea that Ross didn't always do what he was supposed to do....but it never crossed her mind that Ross would intentionally kill the baby.

I don't think he intentionally killed him either, but he did end up killing him out of his selfishness.

Serious question. Harris wasn't on his phone in those 5 or so minutes between Chick breakfast and work, and there is no indication he was driving recklessly in any way during that trip. So....no physical display of wanton or reckless disregard for Cooper or his safety or his well being.

Let's say Harris "forgot" Cooper was in the car by the time he reached the intersection. Forgot, as in- went straight rather than turning because he didn't remember at that moment Cooper was still in the car.

Does it matter WHY Harris didn't remember/forgot? If he forgot because something else was on his mind, does it matter what he was thinking about? And if so, why?

Brad Shumpert: Walked around vehicle: red and black rear facing car seat could be seen. Standing in the open door frame of the driver's door he could look in and see the car seat from where he was standing. Rear windows were darker. [Lost the feed.]

Evans and Shumpert walking jurors through an aerial photo of the crime scene.

CSI Tech describes the scene and what he did when he first arrived.

Shumpert says Harris was already in the back of a patrol car by the time he arrived. He had no contact with Harris

Cooper was 'was noticeably in rigor'. Discolouration on his back and was wet. He could smell ‘hot musty urine soaked diaper’. Shorts and shirt was wet.

Infuriated by bosses of the ATL TV stations covering the #RossHarris trial. They've decided to ban crime scene photos from the live stream.

Crime scene technician Brad Shumpert is testifying. He processed the scene where Cooper Harris was pulled from #RossHarris's SUV. @wsbradio

He wasn't arrested for swearing. He was removed from the scene and put in a police car.

It stands to reason if he is emotionally unstable that he may disturb the evidence or for all they knew at that time interfere with medical technicians there to help Cooper.

The prosecution is now showing photos from inside #RossHarris's car.

Car seat appears to almost be touching the front seats. An inch or two between the seats.

Showing the interior of the car, with Cooper's baby seat in view :(:(
