*Jury Selection Continues (Day 2) (@ 10am AZT) – AZ – Brandon Boudreaux (34/now 40) attempted murder on Oct. 2, 2019 in Gilbert, AZ. *Lori Norene Vallow (46 @ time of crime/49/now 51) indicted (2/24/22), charged & arraigned (12/7/23) with 1 count of 1st degree premeditated attempted murder. Plead not guilty. Held without bond. Maricopa County
Jury selection began on 5/30/25 . Jury will consist of 12 jurors & 4 alternates.
Trial set to begin on 6/2/25 maybe!

5/29/25 Friday, Jury Selection Day 1: Only 2 from the morning questionnaire advanced to the afternoon in-person session with 68 potential jurors. Judge Beresky says jury selection won't be completed by end of today. Trial will be pushed back a bit. Judges says 65 showed up this afternoon & 3 did not. DA Kay says 68 minus the people who have some work/schedule issues leaves them with 54. Not a bad sized pool. Judge excused 11 who had some hardships. Hoping to get the 3 missing jurors in court on Monday, 6/2/25, making the total 54. Judge says he can be done with his questioning by noon on Monday & the jury could possibly be seated by 3pm. Expects prosecution & defense to give their opening statements. If quarantine - then trial "might" start on Friday, 6/6/26.

5/30/25 Docket update: Order entered by Court. Oral arguments were on 5/29/25.
AZ – Charles Vallow (62) shot & killed on July 11, 2019 in Chandler, AZ. *Lori Norene Daybell-Vallow - Trial of Charles began on 4/7/25 & ended 4/22/25 with GUILTY of all charges. Will be sentenced after Boudreaux trial.
ID – Vallow found guilty of all charges & sentenced to 3 consecutive life sentences without parole on 7/31/23.

*Trial continues (Day 2) (@ 8:30am CT) - TX - Nancy Reed (22) common-law wife found unresponsive in a hotel room Oct. 13, 2022 after a 911 call & pronounced dead at hospital & Nadia Lee (2) found dead in Vince Bayou, Pasadena on Mar. 20, 2023 who was last seen on Oct. 16, 2022 & ID'd on Mar. 23, 2023, Pasadena. *Jyron Charles Lee (26/now 29) arrested & charged (10/19/22) & arraigned (8/16/23) with murder (Nancy) & charged (12/6/22) with capital murder (Nadia). Bond $350K (Nancy) & $1.5M (Nadia). Total Bond $1.85M. Harris County
Trial began on 5/29/25.

Bond $350K (Nancy) & $1.5M (Nadia). Total Bond $1.85M. Harris County
Trial began on 5/29/25 & ended on 6/2/25 with a guilty plea.

6/6/25 Docket Update: LVD's motion for a new Judge has been denied. 6/6/25 Friday, Trial Day 2: *Treena Kay now wants to go on the record. She has issues that Lori, during her opening statement, told the jury yesterday that she said she was a very loving & peaceful person. Treena says this violates the rules & she has now opened the door so Treena can bring up the fact she is a convicted felon four times over. Lori also brought in the fact that Brandon hired a private investigator. Treena says if Lori goes down this road, she plans to bring up the fact that she killed her children, her husband & her current husband’s wife. Judge agrees an&thought, “Wow. She’s opening a big door here” when Lori mentioned those things. He says the state is right & she began to testify. Judge asks Lori if she understands. Lori says she does. “I also understand the state withdrew their 404B.” Judge says, “That doesn’t mean you can say whatever you want!” Lori responds, “I wasn’t saying that!” Judge says if Lori talks about her good character, the state can talk about her character going forward.
State witnesses: Gilbert Detective David Frerer [back on stand for cross-exam]. Lynette Mendoza [live in Gilbert had Ring doorbell camera on her house]. Treena moves to admit the video as evidence. Video shown on the screen to to jurors [the beginning shows a black vehicle. Within seconds, we heard a loud bang/explosion sound. Kay has no further questions. Brandon Boudreaux back for cross-exam. Chandler Det. Nathan Duncan [he was the case agent in Charles Vallow’s trial]. Tom Olszak [a retired state trooper from the Dept. of Public Safety. He currently works as a forensic analyst for the Secret Service]. Gilbert Det. Ryan Pillar, lead detective [has worked for the department since 2007 & trained on processing crime scenes].
Trial continues on Monday, 6/9/25 @ 10:30am.

*Plea Hearing (@ 9:30am CT) - TX - James Wolfe II (40) fatally shot by Aunt on April 5, 2024, Katy. *Mei Huang Wolfe (48/now 49) arrested & charged (4/8/24) with felony murder. $100K Bond. Bonded out (4/7/24). Harris County

*Trial continues (Day 6)-REACHED! (@ 10am AZT) – AZ – Brandon Boudreaux (34/now 41) attempted murder on Oct. 2, 2019 in Gilbert, AZ. *Lori Norene Vallow-Daybell (46 @ time of crime/49/now 52) indicted (2/24/22), charged & arraigned (12/7/23) with 1 count of 1st degree premeditated attempted murder. Plead not guilty. Held without bond. Maricopa County
Jury selection began on 5/30/25 & ended 6/4/25. Jury consists of 12 jurors & 3 alternates [8 women & 7 men].
Trial began on 6/5/25 & ended on 6/11/25.
Jury Deliberations: Day 1 (6/11/25) ~15 minutes. Day 2 (6/12/25) ~30 minutes. Total deliberations: ~45 minutes.
VERDICT: GUILTY!

6/12/25 Docket update: Judge Beresky has issued an order denying that last motion to dismiss. It's a satisfying read. He calls her out for making up court names, and for malingering. The Court has received & reviewed the Defendant's "Motion to Dismiss Abuse of Discretion" filed with the Clerk of the Court on June 9, 2025. IT IS ORDERED DENYING the Defendant's request for oral argument on this issue. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED DENYING the Defendant's Motion to Dismiss. 6/12/25 Thursday, Trial Day 6: Jury deliberations continues. And have a verdict @ ~10:30am. Verdict: GUILTY!
Judge polls the jurors. They all say "yes". Judge talks about the aggravation phase. Daybll has stipuated to them [a dangerous offense], but says even though she objects to an aggravator phase. Daybell ask if she can waive her pre-sentence report. Judge says "no!", he will have pre sentence report on both cases prepared. Judge Beresky sets sentencing hearing on 7/25/25 @ 9am (until noon). Daybell has 30 days to be transported back to Idaho. Lori wants to get back to Idaho, so Kay will reach out to the extradictions people & coordinate an interstate transport.
