9/24/20 Day 2 of Jury Selection: Day 2 of jury selection is underway. About half (45) of the potential jurors from yesterday remain. And the court brought in 50 more potential jurors this morning & went thru the process of finding out if any of them have medical or financial reason they can't serve. Jury selection is expected to last through Thursday. By this afternoon, 15 jurors will be locked in as opening statements are slated to begin tomorrow morning. The 15 jurors will most likely be chosen from the 45 people from yesterday, but new prospective jurors are brought in should any of the original group not be able to serve.
