UT Truck left at Great Salt Lake by man in 70s. Age 30s/40s. A police officer's grandpa- he's asked me to find some answers, so I'm asking y'all for help

What I know:

• man's first or last or potentially nickname was Milky
• told his wife he really felt unwell then disappeared
• his truck was found abandoned at the Great Salt Lake

Obviously, it is easy to assume he jumped in the lake, but nobody knows for sure.
The officer said bodies usually surface in said lake.

Any help would be so deeply appreciated.
I tried to find him on Charley and no luck yet.

I would think he would have been found if he jumped into the Great Salt Lake since it's very salty and very buoyant. Do you have access to 1970s Utah newspapers?
