Try to keep an open mind, an open heart and an open eye.

Just came to me, whyare we assuming that baby Lisa was in her crib?

Mom says last time she put her down was 6:40pm. She was wearing short and a top. What if there was no jammies, bath, bottle( night time routine)? She could have put her down in "her" bed with the boys to watch a movie after her neighbor went home.

Why have we assumed that Lisa was ever in that crib? No proof at all.

I guess I personally had been ASSuming because that's the room with the messed-up screen.

Btw, yesterday on NPR I heard a report from some professional peds group about proper sleeping arrangements for babies that I thought was interesting, I'm gonna hunt around for the link...http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/201...comes-to-babys-crib-experts-say-go-bare-bones

The room with the messed up screen is the computer room, not Lisa's room.

Don't I feel dumb. :ohdear: thanks for clarifying tho!

Hey! Lol in my defense, at the top of this page it does say, "10 mo old Lisa Irwin disappeared from her crib in the middle of the night"! So maybe even though I was ASSuming, someone else has an actual reason.

I heard that one too, PlainJaneDoe.

My first thought was god help all those well-meaning caregivers of infants who don't know a fluffy blanket can kill their child.

My second thought was god help all of those well-meaning caregivers of infants/babies who are abducted- and then find that their childs' 'empty' crib is cause for neglect.

Lose/lose, imvho.

If you are on the fence what would knock you off?

These are mine:
If the timeline becomes from sometime Sunday after the party til 911 was called early Tuesday morning. (becoming over 12-36 hours)
If no one outside of JI or DB saw Lisa on Monday. Hearing the neighbor did from DB doesn't count.
If DB's or JI's clothes from Sunday or Monday were missing too.
If any of the burned clothes were DB's or JI's.

Any evidence gathered today from the house that leads to the cell phones or Lisa that takes a change in what we have already heard from JI or DB to explain away.

Any one of the above I believe would knock me right off the fence.

I agree, ketel0ne. It's about the same for me. I would need something significant, something more than just another bad media interview. What you've listed is what it would take for me as well.

On the (original) Did Lisa's mom do it? poll, "fence-sitting" is down about 3% in the past week, with, percentage-wise, "Yes she is" and "No I believe her" almost exactly splitting that 3%.

ketel0ne, good question. Any of the ones you listed would make me hop off the fence.

I don't think anything happened to baby Lisa prior to Monday evening or Monday night KetelOne. My reason for this is the other two children would know their sister wasn't there. I realize LE can't question these children without parental consent, but they already have, i.e. clicking sounds which they stated.

I like your sleuthing about the clothes JI or DB were wearing Sunday/Monday. There must be pictures of Lisa and DB at the birthday party they attendedSunday, and we know what DB was wearing Monday evening, due to her shopping spree.

Has anyone given any thought to a third party, ie a male boyfriend being involved inall of this. The fact that that the dad had to work until 4 am, the children were put to bed very early and mom admits to being very drunk. She may have called for some company while dad was away. This might explain the cell phones being lost/taken, the clicking of a bed during sex, and possibly how the baby could have fallen off from mom's bed. This
"."boyfriend may have been the one to dispose of the babey to avoid prosecution for negligence at the very least.

The older children and neighbors child were watching a movie after Deborah says she put Lisa to sleep. While Deborah and neighbor woman were outside in the front having adult time, aka as drinking. Adult time lasted until 10:30 when Deborah and neighbor went inside their homes. It was apparently then that the older boys were put to bed.

They panic when they realize what has happened. She cent figure out In her drunken stupor what to do and how to explain everything to her husband. That is when het boyfriend had her come up with the baby being taken
Scenario. The boyfriend now takes the lifeless body to bury her. After doing so, he further tries to hide evidence by trying to burn some of her clothes and other evidence in a nearby dumpster. This could very well be the man sighted carrying a baby clothed only in in a diaper.

Just jumping in here on this thread after having recently perched myself upon the fence. I have held steadfast to my belief that both mom and dad are completely innocent regarding Lisa's disappearance...that is, until today. The cadaver dogs hitting on decomp in Deborah & Jeremy's bedroom really threw me for a loop.
The one thing that makes me still believe in them is the fact that there is an 8 year old in the house. Eight year old's are pretty bright and pretty perceptive for the most part. I would think if this young man had not seen his sister alive, playing, squealing, and crawling around all day, he would say so. Kids are some of the most honest creatures on this earth...ask any parent, they'll tell ya.
I will cling by a thread to the notion that Deborah and Jeremy are innocent, until DNA evidence or a confession tells me different. I have had a suspicion from day one that LE locked their sights on Deborah and they are refusing to consider the fact that maybe she didn't have a thing to do with her baby's disappearance. As it stands now, if it is somehow proven, by either Lisa's turning up in someone else's possession or the DNA of an unknown intruder that they are truly innocent...I think LE would really have some egg on their face and I believe at this point LE is going to do or say whatever is necessary to make sure that doesn't happen. I hate to distrust LE but on this one, right now, I do.

Yes, an 8 year old was in the house. But DB is refusing to let him to be re-interviewed by police.

And by now, the 8 year old's perception of time is foggy. "The last day I saw her was....the last time I saw her."

I respect the opinions of those who say that they believe DB is innocent. I just can't see how they can after all that has happened to point to her so strongly.

It may take a little more time than if the parents would have talked and allowed them to talk to LE again, but kids do remember. I remember stuff from when I was 4 if not younger. My family was considered big and there were lots of events always to keep track of with everyone coming and going. Kids are smart and I'm sure they want to get anything they have bottled up out.

Watch over Lisa's brothers...xoxo

I believe she might be guilty of drinking, maybe even neglect, but I'm just not convinced she killed her baby. Cops lie too http://policelink.monster.com/train...g-to-a-suspect-how-far-can-an-investigator-go and would it be a shame if she really had absolutely nothing to do with Lisa's disappearance and LE has put her through this.

With all due respect, and no sarcasm intended, this is why we have a jury of twelve. not all people see the same evidence as damning or without doubt. where some seem ready to hang DB since they found out she bought wine (possibly w/ someone else's money) others like myself don't see it as damning or setting up an alibi. (just for example). I'm "one of those" that feel right now the focus should be on Lisa being found alive, because I don't see enough yet on the table to say she is otherwise. That is subject to change. I hope I'm right, not for gloating purposes, but because I want this child found and returned to her family f she was abducted.
When I see more/ any evidence that strongly points to a crime being committed in the home that negates the abduction theory, then I'll change my mind. I just hope there are more that think like I do and will still faithfully watch for Lisa, alive, instead of planning her funeral because they are convinced she is dead already.
Like you, I respect your opinion, our's just differ I guess.
