I am Canadian. I'm afraid don't understand the point you are trying to make.People across Canada are grieving tonight. How sad to project your prejudice onto Canadians.

It's very common for mass shooters to kill members of their household first, for whatever reason. What a tragedyI hope that all the injured make full recoveries.
Other than being female, what little information we have about the perpetrator so far sounds similar to Adam Lanza (who killed his mother at home before committing the mass shooting at Sandy Hook).
Given the size of the community, it seems very likely that the shooter will turn out to be a former - or possibly even current - student at the school
I imagine the MSM will catch up eventually but the identity of the killer is readily available on X.
Unfortunately, I don't.do you know of anywhere else for those of us who don't do X?
If the name is correct, it will hit mainstream media eventually. (I resist X as much as possible, for about a year now.)do you know of anywhere else for those of us who don't do X?
The suspect, who was also found dead with what appeared to be "self-inflicted" wounds, has been identified by residents as 18-year-old Jesse Strang.

Officers believe they have identified the shooter, but said they will "struggle" to ever determine a motive for what has become one of the deadliest school shootings in Canadian history.
Are you referencing a pic. posted by me? Hopefully not, but if so, apologies to all and will report for photo removal. The person shown in the first photo is NOT the same person as the 2nd and 3rd photo and spreading around someone who is not involved is incredibly messed up. Shame on that article for continuing to keep it up. Especially more when the person they claim the image is from no longer even has that picture in the original post either.
I am, yes. I should have said re: post 33, so my apologies for that. I didn't want to quote the reply because of said photo. But yes, I believe including the photos until there is full confirmation is not a good idea and from everything I have seen, the first photo that was spread about is a transperson from another province and not the person named by the locals. The other X accounts who spread that photo and another one have already walked it back because it was not the same person. Are you referencing a pic. posted by me? Hopefully not, but if so, apologies to all and will report for photo removal.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to ask British Columbians, to ask all Canadians to wrap the people of Tumbler Ridge, wrap these families with love, not just tonight, but tomorrow and into the future. This is something that will reverberate for years to come. As British Columbians, I know that one of the things we do best is look after each other. And I’m asking British Columbians to look after the people of Tumbler Ridge tonight.”
