That is some interesting luck Ms. Mosgrove was having. Then when she moves she suddenly vanishes with an unknown address. Her classmates were targeted too. Maybe it's someone they knew?

There is an incidental reference to her in a book at UFO Secrets Inside Wright-Patterson: Eyewitness Accounts from the Real Area 51 - Thomas J. Carey, Donald R. Schmitt - Google Books. She appears as a postscript to a story involving her father and it gives more information than I have seen elsewhere. It says that 6 years after the incident involving her father she disappeared, leaving behind a five year old son. She had a boyfriend and car, but was seen getting into a car outside her home and never picked up her last paycheck.

The source of this information is irrelevant. It is the additional information that is interesting if true.

Just been revisiting this case and realised that the clipping in #4 above must be the petition of her father to be appointed as guardian of her son John Derick due to her disappearance. This gels with a birth record in 1980 for the son on Ancestry. There is a clipping of her parents 50th anniversary at Palladium-Item from Richmond, Indiana on June 22, 2003 · Page 38 which lists her as deceased. One additional small point re the clipping in #5 above. The others from the school would not be missing, simply out of contact with the reunion organisers.

I wonder if her family had any idea whose car she got into that evening? There had to be a reason she would get into the car of someone she apparently didn't know or didn't know well. Did she make contact with them through a newspaper ad or something..was she going to see something that was for sale or going with them somewhere for a reason? Did someone she knew send that person to pick her up and give her a ride to a bar or party ( maybe she would have been too drunk to drive home later so she took a ride from a friend of a friend or something to an evening event or bar?) Did her own car run given that she didn't go to work that day? Someone she knew may have at least known who gave her a ride even if that person was unknown to her. Was that information from her boyfriend? Was he checked out? I'd assume so as many men have said the woman they knew just walked to the store or down the street or in this case got into an unknown person's car and vanished. If she was having relationship problems, that might explain her being distracted and staying home from work that day as well as if she was preparing for some event with friends or something. I doubt her disapearence had anything to do with her father's story or at least probably not. Judging from the story about her and the bar posted earlier, she could easily have wound up getting into trouble herself just being with the wrong person. You'd think she'd be careful if she knew her father had been threatened too, about associating with people she didn't know.
