Authorities in southeastern Texas have arrested a man they accuse of kidnapping a girl following a dramatic rescue operation at a hotel.

Police believe the girl was walking her dog when she was "encountered by Graham Dunn," who had pulled up in his car. Dunn allegedly got out of the vehicle and forced the child inside of it, before fleeing the area, Balli said.

Investigators followed an "emergency ping" on the girl's phone and located the ping at a hotel a few miles away.

Detective Hector Dominguez with Galveston PD reports that Dunn's criminal history shows he is a "serial sexual offender" with multiple arrests, and pending charges and active investigations still going on in several states such as Texas, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Louisiana.

So glad she is back home. Hoping that she will overcome this horror and receive good care and counseling so that she will be able to be herself again. She is 12 years old.

Also glad that the perpetrator has been caught.
Hoping he will be incarcerated for many, many years. Seems that he has done this type thing before.
