. At a news conference, APD Interim Chief Joseph Chacon says police believe the shooting was an isolated incident between two people.
An undetermined amount of shots were fired resulting in 14 people injured. 1 remains in critical condition.

The Austin Police Department said in a news release that the Killeen ISD Police Department assisted in making the arrest of 17-year-old Jeremiah Roshaun Leland James Tabb.

Police said Tabb was arrested without incident while enrolled in summer school.

New suspect identified in deadly 6th Street shooting, charges against 2 others dropped

Charges against previously arrested juvenile suspects are dropped as LE searches for a NEW suspect, De'Ondre White, who is considered armed and dangerous.

You just can’t take for granted that the first story out is the CORRECT story IMHO.

It is puzzling to me that they are referring to the “17 year old” and “the juvenile” as 2 separate individuals. Wouldn’t they BOTH be considered juveniles, or is 17 not considered a juvenile?

I think they're referring to the 17 year old that way because they had charged him as an adult, they even released his name at one point. But the juvenile wasn't charged as an adult so his identity was protected. imo, I could be wrong.
