For some reason when I read the population of the town I assumed that number would be much lower.

There is live coverage here from a church down the road. LE officers in this church were notified of shooting, kind of a sister church. Family members are meeting, waiting here for updates.

It appears to me to be a mostly white church. I only saw one African American in all of the Facebook photos.

Another local official who wished to remain anonymous said there are at least 25 dead and 15 wounded. Eight of the wounded were transported to Brooke Army Medical Center and and seven others to area hospitals.
