Haven Duncan, 18, appeared in court on Wednesday morning and a judge raised his bond from $10,000 to $75,000. Two other people were also arrested in connection with the case.

According to the judge, the child became upset after losing a bag of chips. Video footage from the laundromat shows Duncan placing the 6-year-old in the dryer. The judge described how the other two individuals arrested were involved.

“One of the others, I believe it’s Life Ford, helps you hold the dryer door closed, and Mr. Gill, Jagory inserts money and starts the dryer. This is reportedly shown on video, and the dryer ran for approximately a minute before the child was taken out,” the judge read out loud.

Officials said surveillance video showed one suspect helping another hold the door shot while a third ran the dryer with the 6-year-old inside. The reason? Punishment for a lost bag of chips, reports state.

As punishment, Duncan allegedly locked the child inside the dryer machine while Ford and Gill refused to let him out until he found the lost chips, according to deputies.

Senseless and cruel.
Also hoping the child is doing okay and is unhurt. Also hoping he will not have nightmares or develop claustrophobia (if that is possible).

When I first heard this story, I thought it was some kids who did it at home to another child, as a prank, and got caught. Nope, they did it AT A LAUNDROMAT! Throw the book at them.
