has LE said whether they have a POI? have they said whether her employee (the one she supposedly dropped off) has been cleared?

No idea sorry, I just saw this today on the news. Fort Worth are the officers in charge of the case, the car was found about 3 hours away (in the next county to me)

aww nooo...I had been thinking of her I figured her car would be spotted sooner or later, I hoped...but oh how sad that is very possibly her... not the outcome wanted, but unfortunately rather ...expected.
RIP Ms. Thornton, I hope you some how know some were thinking of you.

an observant local-“A passer-by was out in the area looking for deer. He’s a local resident,” Wilson said. “He saw a reflection — the sun reflected on something out in the tall grass, in the weeds. He went to investigate and he noticed it was a Lincoln Continental Town Car.”

FORT WORTH — Remains discovered in September in the trunk of a missing Fort Worth woman’s car found southeast of Waco have been identified as the 59-year-old woman’s, police confirmed Friday.

Adrian Denise Thornton, a lifetime Fort Worth resident described by friends as sweet but extremely private, was reported missing June 15 by a longtime friend.

Minutes after being sentenced to 30 years behind bars for her role in the stabbing death of a Fort Worth woman, a 17-year-old took the witness stand Tuesday, saying she never wanted to go through with the murder but gave in because she was scared of the 22-year-old man who is accused in the crime.

The teen, 16 at the time of the slaying, previously told police that she had dated David Rhone, who remains jailed awaiting trial on a capital murder charge in the death of Adrian Thornton...

Rhone forced her to prostitute herself out of a walk-in closet in a residence where they were staying, she said. Later, she said, Rhone insisted she take part in the robbery of Thornton, a 59-year-old woman for whom he worked running errands.
