I found this case while reading about yet another El Paso ISD staff member arrested for child sex crimes and thought we needed a thread. Probation. Amazing how vastly different sentencing is for this crime, isn't it?

Ex-school custodian gets 10 years probation for porn

"A former head custodian at a San Elizario elementary school was sentenced to 10 years of probation last week after pleaded guilty to 13 counts of possessing child pornography...."
and
"...Adrian Trujillo, 49, who worked at Alarcon Elementary School, pleaded guilty before Judge Gonzalo Garcia of the 210th District Court. Trujillo was also ordered to serve 300 hours of community service, not to own a computer or camera, and must register as a sex offender for life..."
and
"....El Paso County sheriff's deputies arrested Trujillo in April after he dropped a computer thumb drive containing child porn at the San Elizario High School baseball field...."
