Well, now... How did LE find out about it? If a GJ decided to indict, maybe it was non-consensual. SMH.
How were they caught? Who reported this act?
It appears that no children were involved, so that's good.

It could be that one of them is impaired mentally or physically so was unable to give legal consent, or was unwilling and unable to stop it or get away, etc.
I'll follow this one -- hoping for more details.

Here's a bit of Texas law:

Texas Penal Code § 25.02. Prohibited Sexual Conduct
[...]
(a) A person commits an offense if the person engages in sexual intercourse or deviate sexual intercourse with another person the actor knows to be, without regard to legitimacy:
(1) the actor's ancestor or descendant by blood or adoption;
(2) the actor's current or former stepchild or stepparent;
(3) the actor's parent's brother or sister of the whole or half blood;

I haven't been able to locate the original story during an internet search, and it happened prior to the internet existing, but I want to mention it anyway. I'm still looking for more evidence. I think this happened in Massachusetts, because afterwards we were talking about some bizarre laws still on the books in that state.
This particular case first hit the news in the early 1980s.
A married couple were engaging in sexual activity in the privacy of their bedroom. Oral sex was involved. Neighborhood children were watching the couple through the bedroom window of their house. (How's that for a violation of privacy?) I don't remember the approximate age of the kids, but they went home and told their mother. Their mother called the police and reported the couple. The couple got arrested. There was a law still on the books at the time that made oral sex, even with married consensual adults, illegal.
So some kids were trespassing, watching through a window, and their mother called the police and the married couple were charged. (I don't know if I knew how it played out through the courts.
Apparently the law still exists in Massachusetts and about 17 other states. I just looked the general law up. Just do a search for sodomy laws.
