If Alanna's killer is responsible for another child's murder that happened years ago, do you think the killer could have gone years without killing?

Was stationed/lived elsewhere?

  • #102
I wonder if Alanna's killer was a teenager or early 20's? If the body was placed in the back of a pickup truck, with possibly no tailgate, and it fell out...that just seems so "amateur" or "juvenile". Maybe the teenager/young adult was home alone while his parents were at work?

Do you know if any of these victims were bound with tape? tia

As an aside, my sister works with Cortney Lyn Clayton's mother, Candy Clayton.

These cases are horrifying. Poor little ones. :(

Maybe it was someone who wanted Alanna to be immediately found dead (punishment for someone who loved Alanna).

Okay I am going to post similar cases to Alanna that also happened in Texas:

During the evening hours of Friday, 09-02-1988, 7 year old Cortney Clayton rode her bicycle to a convenience store one block from her residence in Stamford, Texas. The population of Stamford was less than 4,000. On Sunday, 03-26-1989, Cortney's remains were discovered in a field approximately 50 miles from Stamford, Texas. Cortney was a student at Oliver Elementary School. Cortney was survived by her parents and two brothers.

--------

Heidi Lynn Seeman, an 11 year old white female, was one of two daughters to Mr. and Mrs. Seeman. She had recently completed the fifth grade at Stahl Elementary and was enjoying her summer with family and friends. On Saturday, 08-04-1990, Heidi disappeared while returning home from spending the night with one of her friends. She had left the friends house on foot and was last seen walking west on Stahl Road. A massive search ensued, however, she was not located. On 08-25-1990 Heidi's body was discovered by a land owner along a county road in a rural area outside of Wimberly, Texas in Hays County. An autopsy determined her manner of death to be homicide.

-------

On July 11, 1998, 8-year-old Edna Rodriguez was reported missing from her family's residence at 3536 Travis Avenue. She was the subject of an extensive police search. She was found the next day in the driveway of the vacant residence at 3604 Lipscomb. It was later determined that she had been strangled. (Fort Worth)

------

On June 27, 1983, Julie Fuller was staying with her parents at a motel in the city of Arlington. Julie left the room to take some trash to a dumpster. She did not return to the room. The following day, the body of Julie Fuller was found in a ditch at 200 Handley-Ederville Road in Fort Worth. She had been strangled. Julie Fuller and her parents had recently arrived in the United States from England.

--------

Don't forget Opal Jennings, she disappeared less than 2 miles from where Alanna's body was found.

Opal Jennings, 6 Yrs., Saginaw, TX, 03/26/99

Opal was last seen at approximately 5:30 p.m. when a man drove up and abducted her. Police said that Opal was abducted while playing in a vacant lot with two young friends outside her grandmother’s home in the 200 block of North Hampshire Street in Saginaw. Her remains were found 5 years later.

Horseback riders found part of a skull on Dec. 30, about 10 miles from Opal's grandparents' home in Saginaw (search), northwest of Fort Worth.

Authorities later found more bone fragments and a pair of pink Barbie tennis shoes similar to those Opal was wearing when she disappeared.

Richard Lee Franks of Fort Worth was convicted of aggravated kidnapping in the case in 2000 and was sentenced to life in prison. He maintained his innocence, claiming he suffered from a low IQ and was coerced into a confession.

OT: I wish there was a website like Charley Project that listed all unsolved homicides--or at least a lot of them. It's so hard to find them. Texas's Cold Case website barely has any cases on it.

There actually is a case from recent years in Saginaw:

Opal Jo Jennings was abducted from her front yard and she was six. A man was convicted before her body was found a few years later. He swears he dropped her off somewhere.

I wasn't aware of Opal Jo until I saw her name mentioned in one of the articles. Franks is a piece of work, like so many others. You can tell the worst of the worst because they're the ones who attempt to lay blame on their victims.

Has anyone mentioned Amber Hagerman? She came to mind yesterday. Arlington is only 25-30 miles from Saginaw.

So, Which Males where where? In this family?

Honestly, I am so angry that this child was bounded, probably raped by some sick Monster
Then thrown out like trash that I want to forego any trial.
This monster does not need anything except very quick justice.
Maybe-likely our society is too forgiving and kind.
I am just so disgusted, that when this Monster is caught-
I want him hung up for all to see.
Maybe then the Monsters will think twice.
Her underwear was intact. She might not have been raped.

Her underwear was intact. She might not have been raped.

She was undressed, what other reason would someone remove her clothes? Why would someone abduct a small child, undress them and then murder them? It screams of sexual motivation. They'll do a full autopsy and find out right away if she was raped.

I sure hope she wasnt raped, but I would be surprised. I feel that her being found in only her underwear means more than likely her clothes were removed for sexual abuse. I dont know why her underwear were put back on. Jmo

Do NOT cast suspicion on the family here, unless you have a solid link from MSM or LE.

Post responsibly!

Ask yourself why she was undressed except for her underwear?

Children are murdered by adults for many disturbing reasons. Here are a few:
-killed for irrational “altruistic” reasons,
-killed while adult was in a psychotic state,
-killed because they are unwanted,
-accidentally killed while adult was raging, and
-killed as “spouse revenge”

She was found in just her underwear, that's not a rage killing, it's not done because she was unwanted. That's done by someone who wanted her undressed....and why would that be? Why would you undress a child that you just snatched? A lot of stranger abductions are sexually motivated because they're pedos who get off on assaulting kids and having complete control over them, they get to use them and then decide whether they live or die.

Before we chase this around in circles, let's just wait until the details are released, until then we're all just left speculating.

Just my opinion ...LE stating that this case is an isolated event when no arrest has been made is very irrespondsible.

When an arrest is made ...ok...till then advise parents to keep children safe.

This statement by LE bugs the carp out of me. Jmo

I'm not an enabler for child rapist killers. I just think it's odd that her underwear was intact. It could have many meanings. She might have been undressed because the killer was afraid his/her DNA/blood/sweat/saliva was on her clothing and it wouldn't be on her underwear which was covered by other clothing.

A lot of details are never intentionally released. We discuss what is known on this forum.

The sheriff's department made a similar statement for the area where Dylan Redwine's remains were located.

Red tape, redrum. Who did it? Dropping a tarp wrapped body like Alanna was doesn't sound too smart. Not sophisticated. jmo
